Pretty sure he explained what was up with HSK in the last HSK vid.

It’s my head canon that when Ohm was putting the hat on and taking it off over and over, he was trying different ways of wearing a hat and couldn’t figure it out. Like he’d put it on his face, the against his ear, upside-down, under his chin, as a boot, etc.

It is possible to increase research speed to 40%~ by stacking Thinking spots close together. Each Spot will boost other nearby Spots, unless feature was removed by Mr Streamer. Clay pits are ridiculous. They can be used to produce fire resistant(!) walls very cheap. Workplace itself attracts raider's attention, has high HP and is built without materials. Makes it a great tool for splitting raiders, especially during melee playthrough. Have a nice time everyone. Clay pits should be worshipped as deity. Spam them everywhere, if you are playing along, and see what happens.

I cant believe its been almost 2 years since this absolutely legendary series

if ohm is Australian, then the settlement needs to be called " The Outback"

If it's not too much hassle, I think you should rename the colony at each major level of tech - going from a village to a town, etc. At the moment, it should just be a series of guttural sounds

The prequal only makes the original even better!

I propose we call this settlement “Place” and this faction “Group”

In case you're curious, the Forsakens are pretty fragile without their fancy armor but they move, work, and fight at very fast speed. The Forsakens also have some great melee weapons that'll be useful in this playthrough.

Their melee weapons are not great, they look pretty but that is all. They're worse than vanilla since at least with vanilla you can change the ingredients to make them better. Their ranged weapons are on par with vanilla, maybe a bit better.

Coming back to this, because this is such an insanely good series and idea

This series is already more engaging than the last. Your narrative abilities for the colonists is where you truly shine.

This really takes a whole new meaning to the phrase 'hungry enough to eat a horse' They really need to change that to zebra now though. I already love how this one is starting. I can not wait for more. Robodaddy was sooooo good. Congrats on the shoutout from The Spiffing Brit as well!

Oh ohm... struggling without Maria.

I wish the limiter in tech worked or was implemented on the Tech v Magic run. I'm doing tribal+1 for stat distribution, and my last raid was 153 reduced to 100 so it got multipliers, and I have 2 out of twleve who can use a weapon beyond a bow. So, because the last raid literally exploded my killbox, I'm constructing a box so large and powerful it takes up half the map, and my plan is to use it as a steel furnace to melt my 100+ enemies to bone before they can reach me, ala three cannons, countless traps, thousands of steel, and 500 wood in burnable resources for the world's biggest oven

Ahh yes, Arcadius such a famous name.

This is off to a great start! I also am way more interested in this than I was the other series. The stories make it more interesting. After all, that's what Rimworld is all about!

Seems like a cool series. I would recommend an ammo system. It has been to your disadvantage last series, so it could be to your advantage this series, given that all your colonists will be focused on melee.

I'm now on my 3rd watch of this series, and it's just great to revisit all of these iconic characters. Thanks for making this, I consider it one of your best playthroughs ever.

I cannot believe this was two years ago, I watched it as it just started to come out, and decided a new watch was due, since a new generations series is going on

Very excited for this one! Thanks for using RimForge too - since you're planning on going all melee, you may want to use RimForge Adamantium as a crafting material since it allows melee weapons to reflect bullets back at the attacker.

Change the colony and faction name depending on the era.

This is going to be a good series. Starting neolithic with an overpowered character is some of my favorite rimworld content

This has still got to be one of the best intros you've done, an "iueeeee" to you my friend

This feels so cool! But maybe move bases after advancing tech levels.

As an idea for the future, please plan the city to be in the symbol of Ohm. It would be so cool to see like an ancient colony in that symbol progress all the way from Neolithic to Archotech. I'm really loving this new series already !!

Honestly that sounds like an incredible series idea, most of the time anything below industrial gets completely ignored so forcing yourself to play with every single technological level sounds great!

I really like this one because it feels like you're taking the narrative here a bit seriously. Like, there's still goofy shit and we're all gonna laugh along at it, but also you seem invested in taking this character from the rock bottom to the stars, whereas the last few playthroughs felt deliriously unhinged and reveling in the madness. Plan to be watching these all the way through each day for sure.

This is the series I've wanted to see the most. Really looking forward to this one.
