As someone who grew up in the country, I constantly spent my time wishing away my childhood so that I could be an adult and move to the big city. However, now that I do live in the city, I find myself missing the simplicity of life back home. I grew up spending time on my farm with fields stretching far and wide, but now I wish for nothing more than a small piece of land where I could grow some plants of my own. You never appreciate what you have until it's gone.
