The car reversing into the bike is the most authentic french thing I’ve seen in the whole vid. And also the woman glaring at you. I’m glad you had a nice time, the south is pretty. I’m thinking about retiring more on the west coast, the people are nicer ;)

Unrealistic comments are just cringy sometimes, yes she's fun, funny etc... yes some people will and are copying her, her style, yet! She's no blueprint since there was youtubers years before her acting the same way as she's now or did, i even recall when i found her before she moved to LA, her style was copied from other youtubers, so, no blueprint, she was inspired by others and added her touch.

@@alkvirjkinta2987 no but these videos are something very unique to emma, even if she has taken inspiration as everybody does. i’m sure similar ones exist but she does it in such a unique way, and it’s so well refined and so emma that you could take emma out of the actual video and you would still know it’s an emma chamberlain video because the style is SO distinct. that is very rare.

I've been so burned out lately with work and family obligations but this video and the last NY video is giving me LIFE! They are so cozy and inviting in such a quaint way that I rediscovered something about myself in the last 45 mins! That I actually thrive on being a in new environments and that traveling is something I was BORN to love. Just to go to some city like Cannes for 2-3 weeks to soak in the environment around me! To take in the local feels and just be! It's funny because I went to Strasbourg when I was 18 for 3 weeks with a group and this gave me similar vibes! I absolutely LOVED every second of that experience and have so much nostalgia... I'm going make it a special goal for my life do something that like every now and then because the happiness and giddiness I feel right now is unreal!!!!

Another great video from Emma. I really like the new vibes, it feels intimate somehow. Also, what I envy the most about Emma is her relationship with her parents. She can travel alone with them, and speak her mind freely in front of them; all these are something I can never really do with my Asian parents.

south of france is simply one of the best places anyone could visit. i went there a few weeks ago and now my plans are set to move there within a few months to live. oh and the cruise in the backround at the beach is where i was trying out my boat riding skills, i did fail and almost drowned it 🥸

I lived in the south of france for 6 months in college and I think you did a great job capturing it lol definitely slow old lady vibes i cant wait to go back

That's good living right there. She could have got herself stuck in LA, addicted to God knows what, hanging around with dirtbags and self destructing. A lot of people her age would have got caught in that trap. Good for her.

this is so calming i could watch these videos for days

i think my favourite thing about emma’s travel vlogs is its style - how she manages to have a blend of cinematic shots that looks like a movie, parts where it looks like a chill vlog which allows her personality to shine through and handheld which give it so much nostalgia and relatability. it’s that perfect combination that allows me to appreciate these videos so much more. ofc, needless to say, emma’s dad was a real mvp for all those cinematic goodness but as a viewer from back in the day (2018), I really appreciate and love this style of videography, truly.
