The Most Natural Mini Twist Extensions Ever! | Alternative Knotless Method | Detailed Tutorial

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

TUTORIAL: How to install NATURAL MINI CUBAN or MARLEY TWISTS | In this video I will be showing you how I install my natural mini cuban twists (aka Marley twists) | VERY DETAILED: see below for more info!!!
PRODUCTS USED:
-Hair: Model Model Cuban Twist, Mojito Twist hair, 16 in., 1B (2 packs) purchased from my local BSS for $5.99/pack
-Links to purchase hair online: www.instarbeauty.com/index.ph...
- shopbeautyusa.com/products/mo...
-Alternative Hair Brand: www.wigtypes.com/freetress_eq...
-DIY Moisturizing Hair Spritz and DIY Hair Oil (to grow my low porosity type 4 hair and treat my scalp psoriasis). DISCLAIMER: I only used the Wild Growth Oil BOTTLE, not the wild growth oil itself....if you you would like to know how I make these products, please leave a comment down below!
HAIR PREP:
I start out with freshly washed, blow-dried and moisturized hair. If you would like to see those routines in detail, let me know in the comments :). Then, lightly moisturize and oil my scalp - I have a condition known as scalp psoriasis, as well as a nut allergy, so I'm very careful about what products I put on my scalp which usually results in me making certain hair/skin products myself. I then show how I cut, separate, and stretch the cuban twist hair - I cut each loc in half and separate each half twice = 4 pieces of hair from each half, or 8 total pieces of hair from a full single loc of cuban twist hair.
TECHNIQUES USED:
I discuss my parting method, including a brief explanation of the BRICK-LAYERING METHOD. For the base of my twist, I used an alternative technique to the knotless method which I explain in detail. So if you're like me and your grip game ain't the tightest, I gotchu sis!!!
Twist type - rope twists; I also show you HOW TO ROPE TWIST step-by-step. Yass girl, you gettin' ALL the basics in this video!
In Part 2, I show you how I curl the ends and style the twists.
Don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT, and SUBSCRIBE.
Thanks for watching!!
God Bless,
Nashae :)

    I finally did it!!! They really do look knotless and so natural. Thanks soooo much for this video again!! Also, if I may: if y’all do try this, DO TWIST the hair in your fingers while you twist the hair like she mentions. It’s not as complicated as it looks and trust me, you’ll find a good rhythm and it will go by quick, it looks sooooo much neater and helps to stay. Took me two days but I’m pregnant and my feet was hurting and I also didn’t cut my hair in half so I did the full length. I hope mine lasts as long as your girl. Thanks so much I’m so glad I saw this and now I don’t have to worry about doing my hair everyday. Like I said, the thoroughness of this video gave me the confidence and I’m so glad. ☺️☺️

    Wonderful video! Thank you for sharing your talent with the world. One thing….so many KZreadrs apologize for things like ashy hands, nails not being done, dry scalps with flakes…I will never understand that. You all don’t owe the world an explanation or apology for anything. Anyone who has the nerve to judge someone based on things unrelated to the video needs to get a life. Do your thing and don’t waste your time apologizing to those who don’t deserve your time OR apology. Just a little encouragement. 😬

    Thank you so much for this video. I loved it! I used to have the same thing going on with my scalp. I thought it was psoriasis and that I needed to moisturize. It helped at first, but I realized my scalp was becoming reliant and the flakes got worse. Turns out it’s seborrheic dermatitis, NOT dandruff and NOT psoriasis. The oils I used to moisture were actually feeding the yeast which causes dermatitis! I tried so many shampoos and nothing worked until I came across Vichy dercos anti-dandruff shampoo. It has an ingredient that fights the yeast issue. I just apply it to my scalp (not on my hair strands) in the shower, let it sit for 2 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and then do my regular shampoo and conditioning routine. I found that oiling my scalp after using this shampoo didn’t cause any extra flaking. I used the shampoo once a week for about a month, and then I only used it when I saw flaking. After about 6 months or so, I decided to change my eating habits and cut back on dairy, carbs, and other sugars. I’ve been completely cured of seborrheic dermatitis for about 2 years now! It’s not expensive to purchase. Just google it and there are a bunch of sellers. God bless! 💜

    @@nashaeshainte You’re so welcome sis! Thank you for sharing as well. I have nothing but faith that you will heal. It starts with consciousness, and you’re already here! I believe my sisters are gifted with something that allows us to SEE. For example, we know what kind of man we have. We know when we have a provider, and we know when we have a cheater. Even if we try to suppress that feeling it’s always there in the back of our minds waiting on us to embrace the reality of it. When we finally get out of our own way is when we take off running as if we had the answer all along. The answer was right in our gut the whole time. I had dermatitis because of what I was putting into my stomach. All the imbalances and bs created leaky gut which caused the same bs to leak into other areas of my body where it doesn’t belong. At this point, inflammation is unleashed. Here comes the poly cystic ovaries, acne, migraines, joint instability, yeast/bacteria imbalance, sinus infections, and COVID-19 (aka The Undertaker. History repeats itself, and let’s not forget about the story of Moses while we’re here.). If my gut is leaking food and other toxins that are causing physical “dis-ease” it definitely isn’t functioning correctly enough to provide the voice of reason and truth that is my intuition. Instead, it communicates the physical “dis-ease” to my mind and it follows suit the way it’s supposed to by creating “disease”. Your gut is under attack but is still able to cry out to you for help! Sister, I urge you to surrender to your gut and get the job done so your light can shine bright enough to ascend beyond the low vibrational energy that is trying to keep you low down with it. I KNOW you’re here with me! You got this!!

    Hi hun 👋🏾 I love the look its so natural and that’s exactly what I want 😍 Just a tip if you don’t mind if you suffer from seborrheic dermatitis, you should avoid oils on your scalp as the yeast that leaves on our scalp is feeding off the oil on your scalp and grows exponentially and leaves flakes. This looks so lovely! I wanted to ask if this hair felt rough, uncomfortable against the skin? Ive tried kinky twists before but had to take them out as their hair was so rough against my skin :/

    The Cuban twist hair is a little rough. I’ve installed this style a few more times and discovered another “kinky” textured hair that’s a bit softer, maybe you can try it. It’s the Freetress Punta Cana Twist 👌🏽

    Very nice video, was feeling a bit anxious, and just watching this video is very soothing in addition to learning a new hairstyle. I wonder if this exact same technique will work with a more jumbo sized twist, like the way that young rapper wears her hair...Coi Leray.. 🤔

    Yes I agree. I got to the second row in the back of my head and my best friend commented that she could already see the difference in how consistent the parts were getting and the actual twist.

    I. Noticed you didn't use any gel. My hair is bushy at the ends. I'm afraid my hair will stick out. Would gel mess it up?

  • @nashaeshainte

    @nashaeshainte

    3 жыл бұрын

    Not at all. If your hair responds well to gel, feel free to use it. I’ve notice edge control works better for me so that’s what I use sometimes on my ends to slick them down while twisting.

    Why use any additional hair when you have enough of your own hair. Hope you don’t mind me asking what the benefit is adding hair to your hair? Thanks

  • @nashaeshainte

    @nashaeshainte

    3 жыл бұрын

    I mainly added the hair for volume. When I blow-dry my hair, although it may have length, it loses volume. And I didn't want my mini twists to look sparse lol. So I added a bit of hair to make up for the volume. The extension hair also holds the curls better at the end compared to natural hair.

  • @nashaeshainte

    @nashaeshainte

    Жыл бұрын

    Great question!! I’ve thought about trying this style with spring twist hair, but I haven’t gone through with it yet. I’m sure it can be achieved with the spring twist hair, although I think the twists may have a slightly different texture since spring twist hair is a little bit more wavy. Please let me know if you try it!!

    instead of starting with a braid, have you ever started with a twist and added in hair the same way??

  • @nashaeshainte

    @nashaeshainte

    10 ай бұрын

    Hmm, I’ve never thought about doing that! It’s definitely worth a try!! Since I keep this style in for 2 months I wanted an anchor technique that was a bit more secure. So, while a twist anchor would definitely make the roots look even more natural with the extensions, I think the braid keeps the roots neater for a longer period of time. Thank you so much for the suggestion!!
