Спорт

I run through some notable eBay listings from my ended watchlist from the last week and talk about why I was watching them; curiosity, monitoring the market, or wanting to bid/buy, thoughts on pricing and which cards was I outsniped on, which ones may have been shilled and more.

I love the fact that you shared with your viewers, the loss on the NBA card. None of us make good on every card, heck I'm happy to brake even on most. Nice to see the transparency. Some Card influencers love to show that they always make a killing on the hobby.

Thanks racin! I knew before I decided to send it to auction that I'd take a big loss but just wanted it "off the books" and the loss will bring down the tax bill next year too lol.

Thank you Backland. As you said, just tryin to keep it real. I hate taking the loss, but in this hobby, you aren't going to win'em all and people need to realize that.

I love the older Artifacts rookie cards. The retro ones are clear cut and cool as well. Cheers!!!

Another really enjoyable show & tell. Tough loss on the Siakim…but I love your level-headedness. You’ve always had that trait and I really admire it. That thumbnail…..😂 That dual stick…Roy/Gretzky…is that Wayne’s Titan stick? What a sweet piece of lumber. I’m with you…the exterior pieces are just so nice. I really enjoy this series. Keep up the great work. Cheers!

Great episode and the pre recorded version is a balance as far as content discussion of the cards. You are not watching the live comments coming in.

That money will sit in my COMC account until I either spend it there or withdraw it. Either way, I'll try to remember to track it and update!

Love the show, long time listener on the podcast and KZread. I have a question unrelated to the topic of the video but I don’t have social media so I don’t know how else to ask without waiting till next Saturday. I’m looking at buying a $1700 card on eBay from a seller in Japan. I live in Canada. Does anyone here know whether there is duty on sports cards sold through eBay from overseas? It is a Topps card. Not sure if because it was manufactured in USA it is exempt? I have never bought a card near this amount through eBay so I have no reference. Appreciate any input!

Hey bop, thanks for your long time listening! Canada Customs will charge you 5% GST to bring the card into the country amd there may also be a handling fee usually around $10. Hope this helps. Thanks again!
