Others have already pointed this out, but yeah. Flash meant every damn word he said. It may sound fake, but that’s because it’s actually corny to our cynical mind. The JL are real heroes not because they have powers, but because they are willing to go to great lengths to protect the innocent.

I'm not sure if he can phase in the arkham version, when he takes let's heart the blood on the suit implies he literally just ripped his heart out whilst if he phased it there would be almost nothing as it'd all be on the inside of his body still and his ability to phase would be useful for him in the boss fight and his other cutscenes

Honestly that could work. Sure, his rogue's gallery isn't as extensive or iconic as Batman's, but it's still pretty good

I actually thought flash had the most character development out of anyone in the Justice league (except for Batman for obvious reasons). Knowing this flash was really cool hope we get a similar version of him in other games

This is more Wally than Barry. Barry doesn't like to talk about himself. Barry would have visited Boomrang in jail because he knows how jail affected his father. For that matter all of the Rogues know Barry because he constantly checks up on them to help them reform their lifes. Keep in mind, Barry became a Blue Lantern. Barry is the most compassionate and inspiring member of the Justice League, and he can't go evil without massive consequences. If Superman goes evil, he is physical threat that could be the end of the universe. If Barry goes evil, that is the end of all of the universes and requires multidimensional God to stop him. Suicide Squad wouldn't land a hit. The rest of the Justice League working together would be hard pressed to stop a full power Barry. Barry one hit KOed a fully powered Darkseid after every other hero in the Justice League failed. So the only way I can rationalize this story is they say "Barry" but they really mean "Wally".

It’s like one of the reasons why I kinda am iffy when it came to the Animated justice league series cause that one they made Wally dies at some point or just retires, it’s the only reason why Captain boomerang is so eager to piss on flash when he’s dead

Yeah I saw that in the trailer, they saw GOW success so they made a heimdall to trigger peoples brains into thinking it's good because it's familiar or something, YOu know it's bad when a company just tries to copy something else shamelessly

I love how how excited he is to share about all the cool things he can do because YES we all think it's cool too. The fact that he's sharing that with people who think so too to connect with them on a human level is really sweet.

One thing that will always bug me is how Barry's been portraited lately. Barry was way more serious while Wally is way more funnier and young. And I'm not talking about the game, looks like since Barry came back in the comics people want him to be DC's Spiderman and that's doesn't suit the Flash I grew up with.

Agreed. CW managed to get him right. He was funny, but was not over saturated with humor. Same goes for the Tomorrow verse (even though I hate that universe) DCAMU didn't do a bad job at portraying Barry's character. And then there the Justice League Doom movie where he was portrayed right again. I don't know why in DCEU they portrayed Barry like Wally and now in the SSKTJL video game they portray him like Wally again which isn't his character.

I find it funny that Batman just up and agreed to be filmed for public entertainment. Lorewise, he doesn't even answer and go to Justice League meetings when he can't be bothered.

I guess the SBI people somehow overlooked that part of the script when doing their rewrites...

He would be accurate if he was Wally but once again people use Barry and give him Wally's personality

A good suicide squad game and good Justice League still can exist. Just do not tie it to this universe. It may need to be done by a different studio and given a decade, but they can be done.

In the film industry there’s a concept “one for me and one for them” where artists do a garbage product movie to get funding for their real passion project- I’m hoping SSKTJL was Rocksteady’s ‘one for them’, and now they’ll get to make an incredible Justice League game or even just a Superman game

That isn't the case, sadly. Everyone who worked on the Arkham games left Rocksteady and most joined a new studio. There's quite literally NOBODY from the original Arkham series on this project. Even the guys from the old who you see in the credits left some time between greenlighting and actual development. This here is the the game that current Rocksteady wanted to make wholeheartedly.

That's the point, that's what The Boys is replicating. They're copying this style of talking because this is what real hero's sound like.

Hilarious how the flash eventually got corrupted and died by the suicide squad… . Goes to show that yes, anyone can be a hero

Personality wise, he’s much closer to Wally West. Barry is more into dad-joke type puns, not really sarcasm or mocking like Wally is.

He does, but boomerang is able to find him because he has the speed force gauntlet which can track energy sources from the speed force, also he's been Barry's enemy for years so he's dealt with it in the past (it happens before Barry is turned by Brainiac tho)

How so? Superman is far more corny and nerdy in this than in the shoe, much like how he acts in the comics, the show in general already does a pretty good job making Barry's personality match pretty well with the comics so that's not a bad thing either Wonder woman in this is completely different from the wonder woman show (given that show is incredibly old) And John Stewart has never had a television show, he's been in animated shows but even then he's more serious in those which is a small gripe of mine

First off this flash can't move near light speed, and second they specifically used Lex Luthots tech that clogs his access to the speed force slowing him down, did bro not pay attention? As for how the tech works it's confirmed the still force is canon to this universe so I'm assuming it uses that in the same way some machinery can harness the speed force like boomerangs speed force gauntlet
