I will say it again. I am quite impressed with the overall friendliness and tidiness of that scrapyard. That makes for lower insurance rates, I bet, and happier buyers because their items are likely sorted carefully by ore type, etc. And, it all demonstrates self- and mutual-respect. Good job! (I've been to some yards that make you feel like you should be packing a sidearm...)

Wow, magnet fishing can be dangerous. I have a friend who is in his late 40's and he magnet fishes. Last week he was out fishing in a small creek and a guy drove up and inquired about whether he was recovering lures and jigs. My friend said he had recovered about 55 lures from last year and had found 3 that day. The inqirerer offered $50.00 for all of them. My friend doesn't fish other than with a magnet, so he said sure. Walked back to his car and pulled a small cardboard box out with the lures in it and handed it over. The buyer reached behind him and pulled a pistol on my friend. He took the lures as well as my friend's wallet, wedding band, watch, and all his magnet fishing equipment and cellphone. He didn't want his car. My friend managed to retain his driver's license but that was it. The guy drove off then. My friend was so shook up that he didn't get the license plate number. He was glad that he wasn't shot over lures. He did report this to the county police. They took the report but advised him to take someone else along with him to be a lookout. I volunteered to go with him next fishing time. I'm retired and have the time. Situational awareness goes a long way. But 2 guys can also be robbed too. My friend has always been opposed to firearms but not anymore. He asked me to take him to range and show him the difference between .22, .38, and .45 semiautomatic pistols. My .38 is a revolver. Teach me to magnet fish and I'll teach him to shoot.

Up here in Minnesota we use the Trident Spear for spear fishing! We set up our spear fishing tent and chainsaw a four foot by six foot hole. The tent is dark inside and heated to keep any ice from freezing over the hole. Big Northerns, Muskie, and Walleye can put up a big fight. The spear can take the fight away. Plus the spear handle is six foot long and tied off with a rope like the magnet. Great fun for us Northern folk!

Great video. I would do a couple of changes. 1. put a carabineer on the other end to make it easier to tie off. Also, then if you ever have to make the rope longer you just attach another one. 2. For your air pods there are these silicone covers, they will stay in your ears much better. Also to go with those covers are ones that have string that go around your neck like a necklace.

  • @WolfQuest_Fan

me and my dad went magnet fishing on green river lake we have a houseboat there and I went magnet fishing off the dock my dad picked it up with the magnet afew times but it refused to come up, so he left me to do it while he took a shower. I finally bring it up while my mom was talking to someone she ignored me the first time and then I touched her with it. I asked what was it and she said that it was a homemade anchor. I cleaned it off with a toothbrush and the backside of it was smooth after I was done. Then a day later I went magnet fishing off of the patio at the end of the dock I caught something but I couldn't pull it up so my dad helped and I had to put all of my effort as well as his into this. We finally pulled it up and it wasn't going nowhere it was hooked on the outstretched canopy that someone dropped I was angry because we did not get it out and recycle it.

Surprised you don’t pull out any fish that have swallowed all that crap! 😂 Hey, next time you want to climb on the ledge, please wear a life preserver. Better yet, stay off the ledges!
