As a fellow 23 year old I must say man what you are doing is incredible. I found this channel after falling down the 7 levels of youtube trading hell. Being fed all this info about indicators, alligators and other garbage. Then I found Mark Douglas, Tom Hougaard, Al Brooks and then you. Before this channel, I was getting sick of videos either being too dated or too flashy, I just wanted someone to relate with and tell me how it is without the fluff. It was your video on supply and demand where you used the "Yes" meme guy for your thumbnail that made me go, holy shit finally someone who isn't trying to put on "cigar smokin, lambo whippin, cash money" vibes. Never would I have ever imagined I would chuckle out loud at a sup/dem video as well so thanks for that. But for real man, you are doing stellar stuff for this community, you re sparked the obsession to become an experienced trader and to stop getting out of my own way. Been watching day trader next door's vids as well religiously because of your recommendation as well. I feel like the gears are beginning to turn and I am starting to think about trading much differently than I did when I started a year ago and it is because of channels like yours. Anyways, keep doing you, what you are bringing to the noobs is priceless. Someday I would love to document my trading journey on the tube, but for now I must grind until I can be a valuable asset to others as you have been to me.

tHE aLIGATOR AND THE 5 MAGIC BULLETS. I used it, the only thing that works of that system are fractals for the break outs when they break the shit moves,, and the awesome if you are able to use it. I think in ceartin market conditions it actually works; but I cant find them. In most charts it looks like a mess. I mean if you actually are able to use the 5 magic bullets in real time and profit you are a god of trading.

I have learned to listen to and only stick with just ONE or TWO mentor traders who are doing pretty good. The ones who are teaching from their semi lived in bedrooms doing live trades WHILE they are teaching someone are usually the best. The rest of the learning just simply comes from EXPERIENCE.. Its like anything else. The more you do it, the better you get. The more you fall down, the more you learn what NOT to do. Cooking!! I want you to cook me the BEST fried chicken EVER!! If you try once a month? That's 12 attempts. Its good, but not great. But If you try every day? Thats 365 attempts. Now your cooking with grease!! You will have failed about 30% of those attempts. Did good on 50%. But that last 20% at the end of the year? OMG!! Trust me after 365 sessions of cooking Emillio's extra crispy super sauced fried chicken? Your dish will be OUTSTANDING!! I did pretty good all last week. But I took a NICE hit today. I got too confident. Loosened up my stop loss and WHAM! Ugggh!! I knew better too! But it made me think about WHY I was doing good LAST week. Had one of those light bulb moments. That was another lesson I learned what NOT to do. I'M GLAD IT HAPPENED cause I'm wiser now. PAIN IS THE BEST TEACHER!

There is lot of misconceptions in finance and shit knowledge because like this guy brings up people want to make a buck out of it. One of the "best" (its claimed to be great, but shit by many people) TA books written by John J Murphy was written by a dude who wasn't a trader and wanted to make a buck off it. I've been watching you religiously for a few months now. I started trading in covid like everyone else and I always wanted to make videos explaining how I do it and what mistakes I think are important to look out for. I was too lazy, but it's an idea that was in my head. I basically gave up on the idea when I found your channel - you said everything I felt like I wanted to say and so much more, in a way that actually makes sense and can be followed. (This video is addressed to you from a few years ago, to give you the best pointers on how to figure the system out, rather than explaining what to do? That's how I imagine that you imagine it). I don't regularly watch many channels but I watch your main channel videos and second channel videos whenever they come out. Just found your channel and I'm laughing and learning a lot. Thank you. I have spent a lot, A LOT, of time watching market videos of every kind, macro, TA, patterns, candles, indicators, etc... One thing I can say is that familiarity with all these things is helpful simply for feeling more comfortable with charts and terms and price action. Beyond that, what you said was absolutely right. It wasn't until I moved past all these things and found my own style, my own edge, my own intuition that I began to find success. I've been dabbling with trading in my spare time for close to 5 years and I am finally finding success and feeling like I can do this consistently. That said, I'm learning things from your videos that I still didn't know about. I look forward to watching more of your content. Keep up the great work. Cheers!

Your guidance and teaching style are truly amazing! I must admit, I've been a bit slow in learning new skills, but after watching your video from two months ago, it became the foundation for my progress and helped me gauge my current trading levels. Today, I watched the video till the end, and I can confidently say that I have improved significantly since I started. I genuinely appreciate your instructions on understanding the market, building a strong mental position, and establishing rules for trading. Even after two months, I am still using a demo account, but it feels more like playing a game-a game where I invest time in training and learning the buttons and their functions. I repeat the same strategies and analyze every detail, just like I would in any other game, aiming to achieve a top rank or be among the best. I can't thank you enough for teaching in such a unique way. Your willingness to share this valuable information is truly admirable. Thank you so much! I eagerly look forward to your next video. Although this one served as a refresher, it was incredibly helpful in reminding me to stay focused. For the next two months, I will continue trading on a demo account because I know I'm not quite ready yet. However, with your lessons, I am confident that I will get there.

I love you for this. I’m very appreciative. Ps, your adenosine pathway isn’t active for the first 60-90minutes of the day depending on genetics so the coffee you’re chugging before market open is mostly a placebo functioning marginally through volume replacement and arginine vasopressin. Try downing LMNT first thing & hitting the caffeine later. A quick burst of daylight or staring at a video of the Caribbean will also trigger a favorable tropic cascade to make you sharper. Cheers brother. Love the humor.

Took me 2 years to become profitable. For some it can even take 7 years. A big mistake some people make is they find a profitable system at like 6 months in but instead of focusing on that they are not satisfied with how quick the account grows. They start looking for ways to optimise, different strategies etc. and before you know you forgot the profitable method.

@@honestalgo exactly what happened to me man, now I realized that what I've left behind is actually what's worth working with, I want to go back to it but then I have no money now. I'll give it a rest for some time and when I come back I'll remember the mistakes I've made, the good thing about this is that every mistake is a lesson, you learn it and improve on yourself. I'm not giving up yet cos I believe this is part of who I am, so it's hard for me to just quit.

Very good summary, especially for American traders. Elsewhere, different rules apply to lot designations, spread-betting and tax. The US, Euro and Australasia sometimes refuse clients from outside their region. You did not mention broker/legal leverage: this is very limited (30:1 or lower) in some regions and will restrict how much profit you can make from your capital base; 100:1 leverage is optimal.
