    I remember being amazed when 2 of Gatto's records (8 clubs & 8 balls) were broken within just 2 weeks. It got me thinking about whether all even number records will eventually be in crossing patterns (halfshower/wimpy for balls, and inside halfshower for clubs). This wouldn't apply for rings, or for 4-object records where the patterns are much easier. It also got me wondering whether all the records will eventually be held by 1-prop specialists. Speaking of Gatto: It's amazing that he holds the top 4 records on your list, and that those include records with all 3 of the props! Really shows how far ahead he still is. When he retired 10 years ago, he held 12 of the major world records. Now he's down to 7. Anyway, thanks for making this video. It was very well-researched!

    Thank you so much for that comment! I’ve thought about everything you wrote there and I agree 100%! The fact that Gatto holds the most impressive ball, club and ring record is amazing!

    The record which will stand the longest will definitively be 7 clubs.

    11:30 He actually wasn't the first unofficially, on juggle wiki there is a claim of 6 hours from John McPeak in 1976. Apparently it was supposed to be verified by Guinness but wasn't(He also claims it aired on TV, so there is another piece of lost juggling media).

    Really interesting video once again. I loved seeing how the amount of broken records in each difficulty was in line with the difficulty you expected. Well done. Still really think 8 rings needs to be higher on the list though, is it not the longest standing record at this point? I remember when the 5 rings was around 20 minutes and I considered trying it. In my younger years I did 15 minutes a few times, but then Caio came along and absolutely destroyed it, and it looks like he's not done taking records! Looking forward to his upcoming progress.

    Yeah, the 8 ring record could maybe be a bit higher, but not much I think… I think it could be way higher if more people pushed for it

    thx for this video. It would be nice to have a WR history for each trick. Now, we only have the the current WR holder for a trick on juggle wiki, but it could be nice to see the past of each WR. To have have a trace of the evolution of every WR. Another idea would be to have a PR leaderboard. Like this some people could find another goal to brake, other than their friends or WR ^^ ( like in speedrunning

    juggling-records.com/world_records Here you have the wr history if you click on the arrows. I also think the idea of official pr lists are a great idea. juggling-records.com/numbers_league is a place where we try to make this happen! :)

    Great video! It made me think about what you mean by easiest to beat though? Easiest for you? Or easiest if you were training someone who didn't juggle to try and beat one of them? Or do you mean most likely to be beaten by someone in the juggling community soon? I feel a list of most likely to be beaten soon would also be interesting to make.

    He has held both the 5 and 7 ball records, he has been very close to the 9 ball world record. He is the only person who have done a 7 ball 5 up 1080, but also a 7 up 1080 and 7 ball 5 up 1440! As well as a 5 ball 5 up 1800. He did pretty much all these moves except for the 1800 close to every single practice. He had 1000+ catches of patterns as 867 and has run db97531 around 5 times as long as the second closest person. Right now Esteban is probably closest and Tom Whitfield, even though Tom’s specialties as very different from Ofek’s. Hope this answers the question! 😊

    Fun video! Thanks for your work! Although, the rankings seem odd I'm a huge Gatto fan, but it's laughable to compare any of his records to someone juggling nonstop for over half a day 🤣

  • @eixenful

    @eixenful

    For sure hard to compare! My thought process for comparing was: If 100 people learned to juggle today and practiced seriously, how long would it take for the record to be beaten. And for this meassure Gatto’s records are for sure on top

    I think 5 ball should be higher than #18 personally...I will stick my neck out and say it won't be beaten for 3+ years. Let's see if I eat my words or not😁

  • @eixenful

    @eixenful

    7 ай бұрын

    I don’t think it will be beaten soon either. But how long untill I think a record will be beaten vs how impressive a record is are two different lists in my eyes. For example do I believe the 10 ball record will be broken again before the 5 club world record, even though I consider the 10 ball to be more impressive😊 But this is list is a mix of objectivity and subjectivity, so maybe 5 balls should be higher🤷‍♂️
