Who actually was that wise man? I feel like it was during Ravnica Allegiance gameplay on one of LRR’s streams…. I distinctly remember someone flunging with azorious flyers and someone going off with Guardian Project in simic…. Nelson, maybe?

until it's swinging at you when you have blockers , a propoganda, and a Windborn Muse on the field. prevent the table wipe and then kill your opponent with Strixhaven Stadium three turns later. then they rage quite.

You don't actually have to put counters in your own creatures, yawgmoth says "up to one target creature". Not that it matters, tho.

Oh I think it does matter quite a bit. That makes the combo way less dependent on the board state. I’m a bit baffled that I didn’t notice it all this time. Probably because I always had stuff to target or my opponents scooped before it was relevant.

@@BrewersKitchen Yeah when I wrote that I forgot that the triggers fizzled if you stacked them, but then again, there's plenty of boardstates where you have enough infinite token generation to target your stuff and still not run out

If you mean Yawgmoth sacrificing a Squirrel to target a Squirrel with Pitiless Plunderer, you want to put the counter. Targetting a squirrel gives you treasure fastrr

if you don't want to keep pressing ctrl to go into full control, you can press shift+ctrl and it will hold full control until you turn it off, I believe

For anyone who can't spot the lethal he's talking about in the bonus game (spoiler alert): With 2 black mana, he could use one to cast woe strider, giving him a clue, a goat, and 2 squirrels, which would tap down opponent's board with junkwinder. Then with the second black mana he'd sacrifice the 2 new squirrels to Chatterfang, and since he gives +X/-X, not -X/-X, that'll buff one of his creatures enough to swing for lethal

Play woe strider, create goat and clue, which makes 2 squirrels, junkwinder trigger taps their only blocker, sac 2 summoning sick squirrels to chatterfang to pump junkwinder, then attack for lethal.

This video has 3 things I like: A quick paced humor which isn't forced and keeps my short attention span on, a creative and actually fun deck (that doesn't rely on 40 mythics to win) and tokens. Nice!

Honestly, non-rotating formats already feel like a parody of Magic at times.

Amazing animations and editing as always. I expect no less from Brewer’s Kitchen.

9:20 Yawgmoth ability says "put a -1/-1 counter on UP TO ONE target creature" so he didn't have to target his own squirrels with it.

SO glad to see Junk Winder getting some love. Easily one of my top 5 cards from MH2. You can easily get to a point where you're keeping your opponent's entire board tapped at all times. Obviously it doesn't match up well against non-creature decks, but it absolutely crushes creature decks.

Honestly the editing on Phil's videos are absolutely insane. The narration is sooooo good with the editing and effects. Gameplay and decks are just icing honestly.

Seth move aside, there's a new jankmaster. JK, they both rock. Also, best "like the video" bit ever.
