Have a 2019 GLI. Pretty much the same car as VW doesn’t change much during a run of a vehicle. Absolutely love it. Had a 2013 and the 28 extra horses made a huge difference. It is a definite sleeper.

truly TRULY TRULY underrated and underappreciated! and that's how I want it to be! pretty much a sleeper in the normal sedan market to be honest! the fact that you can use regular octane is a major win! I just saw the new redesigned JETTA and looking forward to it

Will, I got my GLI last week and you are right. The car is so good. You even said its a better daily the your RS3. I got mine in black and it sorta looked like a baby RS3 the one you had. Very sleek, for me its fun, good on gas, and enough power for you to not get in trouble. It also only requires Regular gas which is good.

Can you please somehow make a carbon fiber diffuser and front splitter? Maybe even some custom headlights or taillights with dynamic turn signals. I’d even be willing to buy one if the shop you go with can make an extra for me 😅

The GTI, GLI, and S3 all got the same great turbo charged 2.0, shoutout to VW group for producing a great engine

S3 has the same engine as the golf r but without the trick rear diff.

@@07BSPtC The only difference between the two until 2023 was the Is38 turbo on the R versus the IS20 on the GTI and GLI. The 2023 GTI and Golf R get the Gen 4 EA888 with an upgraded turbo. They all have the same engine it's the turbo and tunning that changes and how they mount it. So Jusfoust was actually right it's the same engine technically.

228 horsepower

In Canada the Autobahn 2023 DSG was 39,000$ CND. Not cheap but not expensive as well for what you get.

Just fyi the GLI leather trimmed interior in the US and Canada only the armrest and door inserts are "vegan" leather. Interesting to see a different entertainment screen than my '22. Great vid thanks man and welcome to the GLI family!!

What was it that had you distracted at 8:00 😆👀 and man the emergency parking brake part of the video threw me off I didn't realize these cars could do that! I was also really thrown off by how fast it accelerated going up the mountain that was like Golf R speed! Great video brother all the way down to the amazing looking food at the end, I can't believe we're VW brothers now lol.
