sasaengs are not fans, or at least they shouldn't be thought of as fans. the word "sasaeng" derives from "sasaenghwal" which means private/personal life and sasaengs invade in these idol's private/personal lives. it could be in the form of toxic hate or obsession, and that does not describe fans

I just remember when Baekhyun was being called by a sasaeng on his phone when he's live, and then Baekhyun revealed her number publicly to EXO-Ls so EXO-Ls calls her (sasaeng) number nonstop that make the sasaeng bashed Baekhyun saying that he was rude. Lol how IRONIC! Sorry for my bad english

The thing is that Sm is horrible when it comes to safety. They have a lot of sasaengs but it‘s not that bad when you have a company that protects you.

Unfortunately Jackson's car incident isn't even the worst car incident there has been - Super Junior's Heechul (who was mentioned earlier in the video) ended up in a massive crash on his way back from his band mate's (Donghae) father's funeral, and shattered his right leg in the late 2000s. To this day he can't dance in concerts or music shows, as his leg is still not great

SM is one of the companies that just doesn’t care. Fans tell them about sasaengs all the time because their groups have the most and worst but they never listen. Every single day people camped out at NCT’s Dorms especially during quarantine knocking on their doors and following them home so much that their neighbors complained and they somehow got their phone numbers and kept calling their phones and the members have spoken out and begged them to stop and to leave them alone on lives and even exposed the numbers of the sasaengs but the company did not do anything.

I mean it's so crazy that even Super junior's Kyuhyun spoke up about all the sasaeng fans around NCT's dorm. Isn't it weird that other artists have to speak up about instead of the agency actually doing something about it.

One of the most recent incidents was when sasaengs crowded Enhypen at the airport. Reportedly this left the members shocked and even crying from the experience. Considering Enhypen is a group that hasn't debuted yet and the majority of the members are underage, this must've been horrifying to be apart of.

The scary thing is that these are only a few stories... there's so much more out there and it's truly sad that idols have to live this way constantly. Like when a sasaeng sent a letter to 2PM's Taecyeon written in menstrual blood or when members from Super Junior found cameras hidden all over their own dorm and when they took them out sasaengs sent them messages saying that they could still see them and what they're doing in their underwear... that is so fucked up. I honestly applaud them, I would lose my shit everyday.

Sorry not sorry, but SM really suck at protecting their idols. I remember the girl who wrote "Rape Me" to Suho at EXO's concert 😡. That was so disgusting, she even followed him everywhere and went to the same plane for him

Yeah exo is known for having so many ssngs :/ sm doesn't really do anything and its been years and the ssngs are still wild. Seeing my tvxq boys on here always gets me though and I feel bad for yunho and changmin :(

Youngjae from got7 is also facing so many things because of saesangs from so many years. Some saesang continuously called him and gave him threats. One time he saw someone trying enter his house when he accidentally woke up at night. Jype did nothing at all when it comes to got7 security. They released same statements year after year. So many years passed but youngjae still facing problems. When he post an ig story to tell the saesang to stop calling him and then that saesang puts an ig story on her own account by tagging youngjae and gave a death threat to him. Some saesang called him continuously and he was so frustrated and told them to stop. There was a secret camera found in the bathroom of got7 member which was installed by saesang. I don't remember exactly either it's for yugyeom or bambam.

If something like this happened to me I wouldn't even dare to go out of my house

Exo Baekhyun always call out Sasaeng. He said because of what they are doing, even the good EXO-Ls are affected too.

The recent incident about bighit's new group Enhypen litreally pisses me of. They went for a private trip and got mocked by so many sasaengs at the airport, they didn't even had much security then, one of the members Sunoo got really scared other members had to protect him, Jake even cried :( Luckily the manager and older members protected the other members. The fact that they were told to stop but the sasaengs didn't stop. Enhypen were really shocked and scared because they never experienced it before and are still really young (they are 15-20 year old) plus they haven't even debuted yet and has to go through so much :(

Tbh I think that the idols themselves wanted to press charges but their labels probably told them not to...most labels are all evil

That Josh incident was really scary. This guy was on full display on Twitter. He visited the company every day and he always tweeted that they just don't want her to be happy with him. He booked the same flights and stalked her even outside the company. He was very vocal about his plans to meet her. He was a really scary individual. Transparent but still very unpredictable.

There's also that one time that Heechul said during that time when Super Junior were still living in one dorm. They were just resting in their dorm wearing only their boxers (since they're at home and wanted to be comfortable) and they were joking around with one another. Then one member received a text saying that he is cute in his red boxers. The sasaeng was watching them from the window. The crazy thing is that their dorm is at the 10th (or higher, nor sure). Meaning the sasaeng was in another building watching them.

There was a pretty recent attack against the five member boy group A.C.E that always freaks me out.... A sasaeng had attempted to put super glue on some parts of the car for it to malfunction, aiming for the members to face a car accident. Prior to this, A.C.E. was receiving malicious comments and false rumors that are spreading in K-pop fan communities, and it was noted that the same suspect of this is the same involved person in the car attack. Their company explained that the suspect of the incident had identified the artist's travel time as well as their travel route in advance, with the intent of harming and destroying the members' health and property. After the events the members of the group reported to suffering from severe trauma, psychological anxiety as well as the fear that the incident might happen again.

Sasaengs crashed Baekhyun's older brother's wedding!! Baekhyun was so upset, he thought about quitting. One or more of them then threatened him on social media. This person told him to not think highly of himself and if they didn't do what they wanted him to, they would do more & basically up the level.

Heechul (super junior) once said that there was one time that because there a sasaeng who keeps on texting him in his personal number that he had to change his number. But the crazy thing is, a few hours after he changed his number, that person texted him again saying that did he thought that changing his number would stop the sasaeng.

Kai was pushed in the airport, and badly injured his knee. EXO members had to literally help him walk. Pictures showed him in pain and with Baekhyun looking mad.

You know what, Kyungsoo used to be a bubbly/happy person. But after Sasaeng steal his underwear and sell it online, he become more quite when in public. That's why you only can see happy Kyungsoo when he was with his members or his actor squad.

EXO'S Kyungsoo even said that his personality changed because of Saesangs, and that it even affected his view of "normal" fans.

SM artists have always had crazy Sasaengs... There are so many other incident that happened to EXO, SuJu, Snsd and FX That isn't mentioned here...

I think SM entertainment should do something for their Idols. Their idols are being followed everywhere.

I swear every group can have their own vids about these crazy sasaengs. It really suck that this happened to them. No matter how you like/hate someone just never cross the line and do something illegal cause that's literally a crime! Stop with the obsession!

k-pop idols are humble, beautiful in the inside and outside, confident, talented, hard working, respectful, kind,encouraging and every positive word but they are not "perfect" cause they are also humans with feeling and flaws ...RESPECT BTs and every other kpop group BORAHAE BTS AND ARMYS and EVERY OTHER KPOP FANs!💜

As someone who has been into kpop for several years, including being fans of second generation groups like TVXQ and Super Junior, those incidents with them have by far been the worst. It makes me proud to see how these legends have grown past that and are able to talk a lot more freely about the BS that some of these sasaengs do. As time went on i thought these incidents might settle down but NOPE. If anything some of these just seem to be getting worse and worse especially because of the huge growth of social media.

Everytime Yugyeom did a vlive his sasaeng always calls him. Youngjae's sasaeng follows him wherever he goes. Jackson also always see his sasaeng near his house and even confronted her but the sasaeng never stop. Damn I hate them.

When EXO were Rookies, the same Saesang who attempted to murder Yunho, threatened to kill a member of EXO. The fans that that she was particularly focused on Sehun. The fans tryed to watch them carefully during that time.

idols arent "nice" to sasaengs... they have to be. the majority of the sasaengs are rich people and the agencies dont want to get in trouble with that kind of people so they always try to make it nice...

The word 'sasaeng' should NEVER be used to describe a fan. It actually derives from "sasaenghwal", which means private/personal life, which is exactly what these crazy people do; invade in these idol's private/personal lives and ruin them. Their behaviour may be caused by the extreme, toxic obsession and the urge to get closer to the idol, but it can also be a sign of hatred and violence. Either way, these people are damn scary and dangerous, as we've seen in the video. I actually remember how much Baekhyun and his entire family were affected by the lunatics who crashed the wedding. People talked about it even 2 years after the whole thing happened. It was just so scary and unpredictable.

I used to watch yall here on youtube and patreon when u used to upload iKON contents. Stopped for a while and watching this video makes me realise how fun and entertaining you guys are❤️

Sasaeng's thinking basically is: if their idols don't give them attention they'll start doing negative shit like abusing them or sending them threats or breaking into their homes or sending blood letters and leaving shit to get their attention. Basically their thinking is - I'll make sure you will remember me, whether in a good way or a bad way.

I m late today😭 Idk much about 1st and 2nd generation. 3rd generation I m a little bit familiar but the sasaeng fans didn't left out 4 generation too. ENHYPEN, the new group under Bighit labels, that haven't even debuted yet were mobbed by sasaengs on the airport. It was their private schedule and the info was leaked. The group's avg age is 16.8. The younger members were scared, one member (jake) was pushed. Sunoo too have got through a major lung surgery last year and still is quite weak. He was also walking like he was about to faint but the older members(heeseung, jay) protected him. Jungwon was protected by sunghoon( both of them were separated). Jake and sunoo both cried that time. Sasaengs were not allowing them to step in their van. Watch that seen was so hurtful. More becoz one of the member is same age as me and how dangerous it is in this situation going on.

One of the worst things I have ever heard is that one of the Sechskies's members were spitted in the face by an H.O.T fan, but the whole fanwar between the two groups fanbase was crazy. The other one could be when sasaengs left/sent their pubic hair and menstrual bloody pads to their idols (I don't remember which group was this, but I'm thinking Super Junior, but correct me if I'm wrong). On that note Super Junior went through a LOT because of these sasaengs, they almost killed them.

Sasaengs need to be damn rich to follow idols around.....

Most of the Idols really wouldn't file a case because 1, they wouldn't want to drag the issue that may either since they wouldn't have time attending court hearings since they are very busy, and 2, of course, saving their image as this may break or destroy their career that is why they just forget and move on. Also, as we know, before pressing charges, the victim needs to have consented to file the case against the perpetrator. If you are filing a case the whole media will be on you, since your not an ordinary citizen, your an idol and that would be one hell of a ruckus. And if you get involved in a case, this will affect your name and company as the advertisers and investors wouldn't want their company name to get drag with you.

As for sasaengs a lot of times even tho they did things that are too horible they are not usually punish unless the person itself collect enough evidence and is desperate to put them to jail. For exo chanyeol he have done it it took i think 2 yrs when his family and him are recieving death threats well not exactly related to sasaengs but same as being abducted if the person really want and desperate to put them to jail they can. But there is a lot of sasaengs and a lot of times they are being ignored. They also cause deaths to some k idols that passed away.

You know whats sadder is even though it says that they forgave the fans and didnt press charges the reality is they couldnt the backlash would be horrific for them and there technically is NO law to protect idols from this kind of behavior the most they can do is sue( has to have enough incidents) or if its bad enough like with Nayeon get a type of restraining order but that's it, and seriously if you think sueing them will make them stop think again it normally gets worse. And theres a few other stories like the guy who stole a cardboard cut out of Suzy and uhh had "Fun" with it( if you know what i mean) or the rookie girl group that got kidnapped by a fan( they broke up right after because of the stress) oh and the one about EXO in the hotel and bathroom they DID take pics and post them also when their house was broken into the things they stole was their dirty underwear and they were proud of it, if i remember correctly they said they did nothing wrong...

as for TXT's sasaengs, there's this well known Beomgyu sasaeng from twitter who follows Beomgyu and TXT on all of their schedules, literally all even private schedules just to take photos of Beomgyu and it's honestly disgusting. There's even airport photos which showed how dangerously close she can get to TXT. She literally pointed her big camera close to Beomgyu's face and it showed how uncomfortable Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai was because they were sitting close to each other. It was terrible

Even the latest asshole who tried to defame him was "invited" to the company for a talk when they literally provided zero proof of their allegations and SBS, a huge network, themselves investigated and proved them false while JYPE wasted time ho humming, just a few weeks ago someone tried to hack his Instagram, Bambam literally had to move house, Jackson had a fucking car accident and got badly injured because they were following his car and even recently in 2019 he confronted a sasaeng outside the airport, a known GOT7 anti got video calls with Mark and JB too). What's scarier is that the boys even recognize their sasaengs by face but still the company won't do shit. These companies are as fucked up as sasaengs.
