Enjoying the new content mate. Didn’t just watch you just for the Guinness stuff as you always seemed like a sound lad with decent crack - which is why I will continue to watch your videos. You took a risk and ventured off the beaten path to go in a new direction, but it was the right choice since you said you weren’t happy doing what you were doing. You’re definitely a natural at this and will go from strength to strength - looking forward to see where the channel goes!

Maybe a cool video idea would be to show tourists coming to Dublin your favourite pubs where you can really party / have a great time. Dont get me wrong, I totally understand any criticism of the Temple Bar, but when I fly to Dublin with three mates and we arrive at lunchtime we want to have a great time :D. Having a few pints in Mulligans or Bowes is certainly on the agenda, but in pubs without music and with an older crowd, the fun factor takes a back seat. That's why I love the Dublin live music scene, the trad music scene in particular. But especially in the early afternoons the Temple Bar is almost without alternative for us.

As a Diageo investor, I don't mind 😄 As an Englishman in a relationship with a Dubliner, I understand the tourist trap, but I still tend to frequent the area because it's a good laugh, love the live music, always great atmosphere, rarely have more than 3+ drinks though because of the expense. Can understand people getting upset with prices. But if you're made aware before hand, it's not so much of a shock. I really enjoy O'Neills by Molly Malone statue. Best Guinness served in there, downstairs bar.

I used to work in bars in the busy 1990's. Even back then I knew all this was coming to a close. The bars were rammed, people were spending a fortune, getting wasted, there was a loud band playing, and the bar was always 3-4 rows deep. I used to look around and think "A generation is going to come along who won't put up with this". That generation is now. Remember, our wages were a lot less, so even €4 a drink was very expensive. Its never been cheap to go drinking.

Temple Bar is where I used to go in my 20s I remember in 1995 it was £2.45 for the the bottles of beer(330ml) in Buskers, and Guinness was a little cheaper. Oh, and Temple Bar area gets its name from Temple Barre, and old French word for market or gathering place. And the pub named itself after the area.

That a pint can vary in quality not by much when you find a decent place pouring it regularly. But it definitely for me can vary a little. I went Bowes which was great but my favourite place for a Guinness was the old storehouse.

I live in London but have an Irish family & when they come here they don’t give a shit about going to central London & paying £8 a pint whereas they’d never do the same in central Dublin.
