The Most Expensive Mansions In Africa

Ойын-сауық

700 Million dollar homes and ten car garages with each vehicle worth over six figures - yes Africa houses some big earners and mega spenders. The Real Wakanda is home to oil magnates, textile queenpins, and construction tyrants who hand their hats in triple extra large mansions. To having in-home chapels to tennis courts that’d make Venus and Serena jealous to swimming pools no one uses, the African subculture of excess rivals that of the United States of America. Mercedes-Benz and Rolls-Royces are plentiful in Nigeria and South Africas upper crust, and some homes even have bullet proof windows!
If you liked the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’s house but wish it was bigger, the South African Casablanca Villa is the 35M place for you.
Africa is home to 1.2 billion inhabitants, and has more than its fair share of poverty, but it does have a sliver of extreme wealth. There are an estimated 43 billionaires in Africa (compared to 388 in China and 237 in India, which have comparable populations), who share a combined wealth of about $143.8 billion. Those fortunate few live out the American dream the African way.

Love the houses! But just a correction: the G wagon at the end of the Sir Okeowo segment is actually not a G wagon but a Nigerian made Innoson (one of Nigeria's local car manufacturers). Also, the assertion that these are the only places you can find such houses is incorrect. Africa is full of silent billionaires who, for many reasons do not put their net worth out in the open. But there are some pretty dope houses out there, in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Egypt, Morocco and pretty much every country out there. The level of wealth among the wealthy is a constant throughout the world. What makes Africa different is the level and extent of poverty among the poor.

Absolutely beautiful. I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. I know Camps Bay very well. Yes, the rich are living very well in Africa. But there is a revolution. Remember the huts in the countryside? They are being replaced by mini-mansions all over Africa and please TELEVISE this revolution. I live in the USA and I'm also building my 6000 square foot house in South Africa , my homeland, in the village, yes in the middle of cow pasture and rondevels. Instead of us buying value, we are creating it. One day our houses will be worth something as more and more people in the slums of Africa wake and realize it isn't about being in the big city but the quality of life you lead. Share my video if you wish :). I also love that Africa is being showcased, not just as a poverty stricken continent but as a place to live, do business and enjoy life.
