CEX is basically a safe haven to purchase or trade in old games!

Glad your content popped up in my recommended instant sub, very well spoken, knowledgeable & I really appreciate the lack of picking up a game to zoom in /out whilst your in cex. 😂

As a collector myself I always take the stickers off the cases but being able to look back at prices you paid years back does seems satisfying… I’m too far gone now tho 😂

I sometimes stick those price stickers on the inside of the case behind the manual so i have the memory of how much but out of sight :)

I want the silent hill collection so bad but can't afford it. Always wanted to play the ps2 entries

I have most of those games and paid only a fraction of those prices, for example I bought haunting ground off Amazon brand new sealed in 2017 for £14 don't know when the prices for that game went so insane.

Oh buddy just look how much Gun Club for ps2 is. Also fun fact: the only mint copy of Silent Hill Shattered Dimensions (£440) is in my nearest CEX.

It is absolutely nuts how much some games are going. I have pretty much given up on getting any of the major ps1 and ps2 games as they are becoming way out of my league. I have had some luck over the years in finding some rare gems like Devil's Deception for ps1 for cheap at a Bazaar and even just last week i found a ps2 copy of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel at a charity shop(Which considering i found it after the show aired, i am really lucky) but those are just rare exceptions. I think il save up and get at least the OG Silent Hill which will probably be more expensive by the time i do get the money but at least i will play it cause i want too. Right now my real main focus is getting a large portion of ps3 games as they are still somewhat relatively cheap compared to ps1 and ps2 but even that my window is closing,(however unlike the other 2 you can actually still find cheap deals on flea markets and fb marketplace for some of the rarer stuff).

Great video with some real gem's. I love the PS2 unfortunately I spend most of my gaming time playing rubbish games on the ps5. Fell into this hole of collecting trophies. It's almost took away my love for gaming! I'd sit and play a game I'm hating just to collect that platinum.sad really. Just to add to your video the price of Def jam fight for New York has sky rocketed in price! Keep up the great videos. Always looking forward to the next.

Clock Tower on the PS1 is super expensive, I played them back in the day but I bet today would be very clunky.

Ebay prices are definitely not better. Even on bids, people will snipe them last second for insane prices.

With that amount of PS2 games you should buy a bunch of used memory cards and look at people’s saves

FUUUUCKKKIN hell, Silent Hill 3 was £30 2 years ago😢and was about £42 last year. Pisstake! 😂 i want the ps2 version but not that badly! I'll probably opt for the ps3 collection even though I've heard it's a bit worse than the originals. Before the WITH /WITHOUT add on revamp that cex did, i swear project zero 2 was £55 with manual!! 😱 i picked up my project zero for £28 + the £2 postage
