The captured prey doesn't have to sit in a freezer 30 days to kill parasites. The USDA website has a chart for freezing meat to kill parasites. The colder the freezer, the shorter the time required.

Owls can see in dark, why don't we use them??

Pigeons push out other native birds. It's so bad that you can have an entire neighborhood devoid of other birds. They will endanger a sensitive bird population, simply because they work so much better around humans. So yeah, they are dangerous. It's literally the same argument environmentalists give about humans.

The pigeon or DOVE as what they really know once a symbol of bravery, rescuer aka life saver, still is in some parts of the world, messenger, hero and yes one of the best wild fertilizers that cant be bought better than bat guano is now hunted ...shame . depleting their population , as they did and still do by building a simple dovecote, removing their eggs, would bring down their population to 95 percent , instead you kill...dovecote would also make their fertilizer easily harvested and give an income and stop the so called fertilizer shortage of which there is plenty if people took their heads out of their intestines and stopped listening to nit wits! but humans do not learn , we just dont want to use logic or reason, we listen to ignorant , foolish , power hungry politicians and moronic people.
