It is popular dessert in Indonesia and Malay. Chinese bought it to Canton and became one of the sweet treats in lunar new year. You should try it out if you come to HK next time

Thank you for the lovely review and for sharing❤️ When the cake was introduced to Hong Kong, it became popular during the Lunar New Year, because in the Chinese Culture the golden appearance symbolizes wealth. As Hong Kong people are not accustomed to the taste of turmeric, some adjustments were made to the flavor. I enjoy making fermented pastaries and cake and I love the texture of bika ambon so much. They are so delicious!
喜歡有配音的版本,因為可以邊做事邊看。
一直觉得黄金糕很像蜂巢蛋糕,只是配料不同

現成的乳化劑很難避免 但自制現榨脂肪含量因水果質量不難把控脂肪和水份的比例
