The MOST Cinematic Blade and Sorcery Golem Fight ever...
Ойындар
The Hector Golem boss fight is one of the best things about the Blade and Sorcery full release. A cinematic fight with no sorcery. Yeah maybe "MOST cinematic EVER" is a bit of a stretch, but such titles I must make for the ruthless algorithm... I tried my best though I hope it's pretty good none the less. Had some even more epic fights but I messed up in them towards the end. Hard to do the whole thing flawlessly! Though this one isn't flawless either ;)
Sped up slow motion footage was used.

it feels like the golem is a paid actor but also acting like how the devs codeed it too, like how sometimes it allows you to take rest and stuff but also attacks you. 2:37 this is my favorite part because it feels like the golem knows too do that but it's really just the code
Having done my first completion of Crystal Hunt, I can indeed say that Hector is a worthy boss fight. Makes you be aware of your environment, makes you need to think quick about how to get to those weakpoint-protecting glowstones, recognize what weapons would be suitable for dealing with his weakpoints, and of course the (personally disorienting and nausea-inducing) flailing about during the colossus climb in order to reach the upper points. And of course the experimentation, I wasn't even aware you could stun him with the shield throw and interrupt that charging beam. So, we've seen a skilled warrior tackle a fully powered golem, but now I wonder how a full-mage would fare, or perhaps other thematic combatants when mods get updated. Jedi/Sith would be neat, as would a Mandelorean. A Hunter from Bloodborne would also be fun, or someone from Final Fantasy, or Assassin's Creed, hell we could see what a ninja from the Narutoverse could do. This update's pretty good in Vanilla, can only get even better when those mods get updated and online for more thematic dungeon runs~

Sped up slow motion with B&S is a match made in heaven. you could make any fight as cinematic as you want and it's a gift that keeps on giving. I dunno why some people get funny about sped up footage tbh. It makes the video more entertaining.

That initial shield throw was fucking insane. I would love to see more with different styles of weapons, absolutely remarkable. i saw this video and held off watching it until i tried the hector golem fight for myself. i did not want to spoil it and this cinematic masterpiece (imo) was absolutely worth the wait.
The power of VR… This is incredible
How do you remember to act like a normal person? Like just you landing after destroying the first blue crystal is so real! This stuff is so cool, fantastic job making movies!
3:45 idk why but this scene is so cool to me
I like how in the beginning, both are on even footing, then in the middle, the unyielding golem has tired out the guy, and he is hiding a lot more and being very safe with his movements, yet at the end, as the magic sources powering the golem dwindle, the power starts to shift back towards the guy, until he finally kills it.
THIS HAS TO BE AN AD FOR THE GAME, HOLY MOLY
