That is the most beautiful text block I’ve ever seen in a Bible. I care more about font and text layout than I do the cover and this looks perfect.

I bought the original NKJV that they published in 2017 and it had the same artwork which is awesome.

I'm sooo excited to see another Bible reviewer actually excited and build up this new ministry. I absolutely love Humble Lamb Bibles and their whole ministry Daniel and his beautiful wife are the best I loooovvvve their IG pictures. Love the translators to the reader,I read it with a kindle version that's modernized

I love the Lion fore edge gilt but the Shepherd is my favorite because I like the single column and NKJV. Love both of them. Wish they would bring out the best of both in one Bible single column 11 font with drop caps NKJV and Lion fore edge.

Humble lamb has been producing some nice bibles. I’m a Bible dork and a pastor so I’ve considered getting one of these

It's Hard Bible to get a Hold of but I'm up for the Challenge 313 Until I D-I-E 💯

I had the HL, but it was too floppy for me. I gave it away. I would love to have a Schuyler Canterbury again. That was probably the best reader I have ever seen. 11 point milo font is my favorite font. Thanks for another interesting video.

Schuyler makes the best bible, Canterbury has the best text block plus the psalms are metrical, which is how they were meant to be read and written..they are songs aand poetry after all. Price is also about the same. They also bind and print in Joengblod, Netherlands, the best printers and binders in the world. And not in a country that is actively killing and persecuting christians and rewriting the bible to go along with their socialist, antichrist idealogy.

Nice video -- just trying to figure out if i want to step up and purchase the black, purple, or yellow. Being Canadian with conversion & shipping will cost almost double for me but they do look good. GOD Bless

Overall I like the edition. I’m debating about buying one. As you mentioned the one big hold back for me is the drawings of Christ. Specifically depicting him with long hair 1 Corinthians 11:14. I’m just really mixed on that aspect of it.

i have a copy of the first run of the Humble Lamb NKJV, from a few years ago, purple with purple under gold art gilt... the setting of the text and red letter is excellent, but i did not like the extreme "floppiness" (or "flabbiness") of the cover, it's like a rag or cloth hanging down from my hand... too soft... so the bible sort of feels like a hard "book block" under a too flabby/soft rag, there's no "hold" in the goatskin ... a little hard to explain.... but maybe the latest KJV ed. is better in this regard... but from what it looks like in your review, it seems very similar... but this KJV setting is interesting with the blue letter which looks nice...

Does it have a concordance or notes that explains the meaning of certain word love people will be familiar with?

Yes, it does have a concordance in the back, which is actually quiet sizeable for being in the back of a Bible. There are also notes at the bottom of each page that define words which defines antiquated words.

Humble Lambs didn't produce that art. It looks like the art of Gustave Dore, who lived in 19th century France. Personally, I would buy a Bible with his art included. Beautiful!

Am I the only one who longs to see Humble Lamb produce a version of the KJV Lion without the Gustave Dore illustrations? One of the unique features of this Bible is the excellent decision of putting "The Word of God" on the spine, instead of the traditional "Holy Bible." So why diminish the simplicity and power of that unique feature with distracting illustrations that take your focus off the words and onto one man's artistic concepts of various biblical accounts? The day Humble Lamb decides to do is will the be the day I purchase this otherwise beautifully crafted and thoughtfully produced Bible.

That is a myth...Blood is not blue, but veins may appear blue due to the level of oxygen in the blood.0 Red blood cells contain hemoglobin, a protein with red pigment that carries oxygen. When hemoglobin picks up an oxygen molecule, its shape changes to hold the oxygen, which absorbs and reflects certain wavelengths of light to look bright red. When hemoglobin releases oxygen, its shape is modified and appears darker red.2 Blood that has been oxygenated is bright red, and blood that has lost its oxygen is dark red.1 Veins appear blue because blue light is reflected back to our eyes, which does not penetrate human tissue as deeply as red light does.

The problem with Gustave dore and most art depicted Christ is that hey always make Him a white, effeminate, wimpy looking man. He would have been ripped ( carpenter His whole life with no power tools), middle eastern looking, and NOT in any way effeminate. They are several other high end bible companies that avoid China and don't put blasphemous art in their bibles, RL Allan, Schuyler, Cambridge,etc. How do you argue with the Word? According to Exodus 20:4 in the King James Version of the Bible, "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

I ordered a KJV. I was wondering if you have seen the NKJV. It is single column and 9 point font. It doesn’t look hard to read due to the 9 font but I haven’t seen it in person. Wondered what your thoughts were on the font difference.
