The Fosters season 1 features a subplot so baffling, I can't not talk about it. From the moment the subplot was introduced, I was confused about where the story was going and it turns out it wasn't going anywhere!
I was left confused and disappointed by the show highlighting certain topics and then failing to explore them in any meaningful way. And honestly, I kept wondering why. Why did they write the story the way they did, what was the purpose of it, what was the point?
idk maybe they just didn't think about it because you were only supposed to watch one episode a week and move on to the next one
