@@eirschu8973 you know, I’ve been learning about some theories of morality created by Lawrence kohlberg. In his theory he describes three stages of moral learning, preconventional, conventional, and post conventional. Preconventional moral reasoning is described as simply avoiding punishment or seeking an exchange being the basis for moral reasoning. This is usually seen in toddlers and elementary age children. The second stage, conventional moral reasoning, is described as wishing to be seen better by others, or following guidelines because they are the rules set in place. This is usually seen during adolescence through young adulthood. Many adults never even reach the third stage of moral reasoning, which is described as doing or thinking about things in terms of the common good of society or based on your own perception of integrity. So what I’m trying to say to you is, essentially, 2nd stage is a HUGE L ngl 🗿.

@crayzmarc

Azaryan competed at the USSR Championship in 1953. The judges were very strict and Azaryan felt nervous. When it was his turn, Azaryan pulled himself up on the rings and performed his own special technique. The judges did not give him an assessment at the time but he was invited to the next championship. It would later turn out that the judges had rated Azaryan's innovation as something "unprecedented." This technique Azaryan had performed would later become known as the "Azaryan Cross." The judges actually supported him and this story presented here is a lie. Look up 5th generation warfare. This is a classic example of it.

@@CarParts08382 Even if that's true you can consider a kid to be 10x smarter than a normal teacher when it comes to handling said electronic devices... It doesn't mean that they actually are, there's just different areas to be judged upon. And it didn't happen before either, the classic "the teacher kicked me out because I'm right" was mostly just a moment of rebellious attitude towards the teacher.

Those rings are so incredibly difficult. Unbelievable! What a cool story, gymnastics has a lot of cool stories actually.
I think its really important to remember why he did that and hope that no other athlete is treated unfairly ever again.

judges: **basically faceless and nameless to history** Azaryan: **gets a gymnastics move named after him**

The judges also need to be disqualified as they responded to his questions

He wasn't disqualified. The author of video lied. Albert got the highest score.

@@lyubovstratilatova7294 is there a source I can find for this? I searched it up and it seemed like even though he wasn't disqualified, he got very heavily marked down and resulted in his team being dropped several places. There really doesn't seem to be a lot of consensus on this, so if you could please site a source, that would be great.

@Half Way He got disqualified but then, that was overturned and he was asked to represent the USSR at the Olympics.
It's hilarious that the judges just straight replied to the guy in the middle of the routine
The gymnast then became the lead singer for the band Queen
