Back in the late 80s we actually had a subject in Primary School where we built Lego machines and programmed them using a system called Lego Logo..... Pretty much the precursor to Mindstorms, but with this system you had a special breakout box that connected to your computers serial port (remember those?) and you used a programming software similar to BASIC to program the motors, sensors and lights in your creation. From memory you could have up to 8 powered devices at a time.

Great build 🖖, how do you design any model, is there any software that you use to see which part will fit and then order them separately? I want to make robot out of lego for a project but don't know how to design. And what parts will be needed for build would you help me about with the direction?

When I was a kid, I made a lego robotic arm and a lego plotter, which both could be controlled with a Commodore 64 and a custom cartridge hooked up in the back of it and to the wiring of the lego that I had made myself as well. Not SUPER complicated, but I was 9 at the time, and this was before mindstorm.

If only I was a millionare to afford that much lego pieces...

Amazing machines. But can you make a machine that will sort jig-saw pieces by shape, that will find the edge bits and then sort by colour. That should take longer than 21 hours to make!

I'm a logger and I got all exited when you showed a feller buncher, Lego one is a john deer and the real one you showed is a timber jack, John deer bought out timber jack and they've hardly changed despite the name, so good on you for that little part but, well the Lego one was a feller buncher the real one you showed was a tree processor, so were the feller buncher only cuts down the trees, the tree processor cuts down trees and processes them into logs, but this was a very cool video I just wanted to point that out, the more you know eh 😉

I made a guitar using the next ultrasonic sensor to identify what pitch and the touch sensors to play like strumming. It used a rotation sensor to tune it and could play two octaves worth of notes. Being only a foot and a half long that's pretty good. It also had a frame shaped like an actual acoustic guitar

I would make a car, a drivable one, with a Flat 6 RWD.

I kid you not, i made a functioning bong out of legos. The bowl and stem were metal, but the rest was lego. I sealed it with bees wax on the inside, so it didn't leak. I only used it a couple times. It was just an experiment.

Was trying to check these awsome ppl out that created these magnificent creations. Almost all channels removed ( I guess ). And those who are still up have nothing to do with Lego. Wtf youtube!?

The tic tac machine isn't so complicated to build, so everybodey can build one for himself, even I built one myself, and man, it was fun, i very recomend building one

You are amazing.

I would want to build a robot, that scans the room looking for people without shoes on and dumps legos all around them.

I would make a lego airplane with a hot tub with food court and a arcade machines and vending machines
