A must watch for wooden boat lovers! When over 70 classic Moreton Bay cruisers line up for a rally to Peel Island, you know you’re in for a visual treat! The beauty and joy these classic old girls give us, with their ageless lines and varnish make our hearts sing. As explained in the video, this event started in 2022 from some fun banter on the Moreton Bay Cruisers facebook page. This vision is from last years event and this years Moreton Bay Classic will be held on Saturday June 22, 2024.

Hi, just come across this. What a fantastic lot of boats I know wooden boats are a lot of work but they are just wonderful. I really love boats yachts but unfortunately I lost my leg above the knee 2018 so now I am wheelchair-bound very hard to move around. Thanks for the video. Keep up the good work Cliff from Logan City
Beautiful work mate. We’re so blessed to have Moreton Bay on our doorstep, but unfortunately, the vast majority of people in Brisbane don’t connect with it. Many fond memories fishing it with my dad, as a kid.

Very.good vid love wood boats use to have 40 foot trawler built in 1925 big.old Gardner 110 horse power .
