Wonderful version, voice sounds like yesterday, great band besides him. Great song. Superb in Solo, but MB fans asking, and so do I, if John is planning a song with Justin again. Would be so great. Both are on their own way and we got to respect it, but wouldn't it be nice to see them reunite as 'MBlueJays'?? 🥰🤗👍🎶Greetings from Germany

A time and a place for all things except for The Moodies, it's always the right time for The Moodies. Songwriter's seems too meager a title somehow. Great songs take you from your physical location and cast you about into distant realms. A Journey in the mind beyond the mundane and the humdrum. Love this song and the wonders I've seen listening to the soothing echos of cosmic consciousness gently flowing throughout it. Is it too much to ask for another album, or three? All the best to those with love in their hearts.

A totally brilliant rendition.

Wonderful music of the Moodies by John Lodge! I never fully enjoyed this song until now, because of how deeply Moody and Blue it is, loving their upbeat Prog Rock guitar and Mellotron songs more. I recall when this song was released in the summer of 1972, I was laying on a beach towel in Newport Beach listening to my transistor radio, and loved it, although it made me feel very sad. due to the sadness of the lyrics.

Thank youfor ths song, John. It has kept me alive many times. You are an amazing man.❤

i love johns music , i saw the moodies 5 or 6 times in the 80s always a great show, john got the lyrics wrong on this version, but you have to take it as is, hes almost 80 and im sure his memory lapses sometimes, i forgive him

I saw them at A Theater that is no longer open call The Star Plaza in Merriville Indiana and this was twenty plus years ago and they were amazing.
