Are we related? I always go for the more complicated patterns when I'm still learning, too. In today's episode, I'm going "easy" on myself - travelling pinwheels on the RHL. lol

You are doing great. Following someone else's ideas and patterns can be slow going and often very frustrating, if you have a deviation so what, (never never say "mistake"), you have just added a bit of you into your work. Nothing is set in stone, these books and patterns are not "gods". I have been a weaver 30 plus years, you are doing great.

It is called an Inkle Loom. It creates bands similar to what a kumihimo loom would.

Thanks for the video! I’ve been wanting to try this technique for a long time but was having a hard time following Anne Dixon’s instructions so it’s fantastic! I’ll dress my loom thinking of you
