Tablet weaving on my inkle loom - follow along!
In this video I set up and weave a band using tablet weaving / card weaving on my Schacht Inkle loom, while chatting a bit about what this techinque is, how it works and how the warp is set up.
The sound quality improves in the latter half of the video as it is filmed over several months and I upgraded my mic, bare with me :)

The cards I am using are 3D printed, and while the exact ones I have are not available on thingiverse as I have modified them (I should figure out how to upload mine) there are plenty up there, and I can also really recommend this shuttle for any band weaving: www.thingiverse.com/thing:328...

After much frustration I now warp my cards like you do. So much better and no frustration. Thank you for this video

It's super interesting, and pretty easy to start too! Honestly you don't even need a loom, just use some old playing cards, a belt and search "backstrap tablet weaving" :)

What a great gift! I used cotton, something a crochet cotton, which is a good place to start! Wool can be a bit sticky

Hej! Jag funderar på att börja med bandvävning med denna metod och nu blev jag verkligen jättepepp! Älskar din video 😍. Men jag undrar om du säljer dina brickor? Jag har tyvärr ingen 3D skrivare :( och gillar verkligen utformningen. Varför uppfinna hjulet osv. ;).
