That’s typically what happens for first time offenders especially of that age. Depending on the state first time OWI and failure to control are classed as traffic violations not crimes so if they’re in one of those states the cops don’t even have the ability to do anything besides release them after. They’ll still have to deal with the repercussions like suspended license and whatever else the court decides.

That being said, those small wires probably aren't going to do much damage. The poles you gotta worry about are the power poles with high current and AC voltage

A few years ago my mom was in a multi car crash when a woman was high and was using drugs and crashed, pushing vehicles into other cars. Someone was pretty injured. My mom thankfully wasn’t really injured. Didn’t help her back at all.. Anyways, I looked her up and this pos was literally arrested for the same thing three times prior. The longest she’d spent in jail for multiple hit and runs was six months.

I was pulled over in high-school about 25 years ago. I was drinking. The cop followed me home about 3 miles and that was the last time I ever did that. I realized how fortunate I was and learned from it. So no, you can learn from a slap instead of the whole book.

dude, that second video reminds me there are good people. they did everything they could to help out those people in the car, trying to figure out who was hurt worse and planning what to do together. @@Raintu Basically the same thing. I had just graduated high school and was hanging out with some friends. We had smoked weed, wasn't legal in our state. We did the dumb decision of driving to get food, got pulled over. He had all of us get out, talked to us and had us all call our parents, wake them up at 2am and tell them what we did. My friend's mom and dad came to pick all of us, one of them drove my car back for me. And from then on out whenever we drank or smoked, we take all of our keys and place them into a container in the kitchen that was to not be touched till morning. It's been 5 years and every single of us that was there haven't driving under the influence of anything since. When we've hosted parties for new years or what not, the people new to partying at our house usually take a little crack at how strict we are with it.

Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. My first accident was also a rollover. In winter as a fresh driver I was leaving a city and there was several cars in front of me driving very slow. So I overtook them but they were driving slow because the road was totally frozen. I only remember how my car was drifting from side to side and then I somehow ended up in a field along the road with my car on its side. The drivers I overtook stopped and helped me get the car back on wheels. There was a good layer of snow so the car wasn't even damaged 😄 but it was a sufficient lesson

It is, but that kind of immediate reaction also kills people. If someone has any kind of spinal injury, the slightest movements can cause permanent damage or death. A girl at my high school was pulled from her car because it was steaming, and they thought it was smoke. She went from speaking and telling them to stop, to dead as could be in seconds. 🥺 There’s very specific situations where that response makes sense.

Uhh... she didn't get off. This channel should do better. Saying "just got a citation" is such an understatement. A criminal citation differs very much from a civil citation. She'll still face all the same consequences as if she had gone to jail, she just didn't go that night. That's not to say that she won't ever go for it after her trial. She was technically still "arrested".

First girl was half drunk, hit a cop car and walked away from it unpunished. Meanwhile I got a $1087 ticket because I failed to stop at a school bus, however I was driving at 3 mph when I passed the school bus, I just didn't know I couldn't pass it if it didn't have the stop sign extended, I also passed it on my way on the road but on the left lane. Lol, this is how justice works I guess.

That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. God said : Say, “We believe in Allah, and in what was revealed to us, and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and in what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. And to Him, we surrender.” (2:136 / Translated by Community) Salam (Peace) -------

PSA: if you witness a rollover accident and the car is on its side with passengers, and there is no sign of fire, you should not try to roll the car back upright. It is possible that the occupant/s of the vehicle could have suffered head/neck/back injuries, and the impact of the car being righted could seriously worsen their injuries, similar to how motorcycle riders are warned not to attempt to remove the helmet from a fallen rider with possible neck injuries. It is absolutely commendable when those citizens helped the officers after the wreck, and it is also important to know that if you see something like this happen, always assess the situation to determine the amount of danger the victims of the crash are in before performing any type of rescue.

I think a lot of it was how she behaved. Not to say, of course she should have gotten the pop on her hand like she did, but she was taking responsibility for her own dumb action, admitting she drank (thought did turn down the breath test), and wasn't belligerent. No one was hurt either, which if someone had been, she would have gotten charges and wouldn't have been let go.

Her age and behavior helped her with that, on the other hand, incidents with owi and other things attached. Even if they were arrested and taken to jail, we all seemed to know what will happen, with the focus from district attorneys which is to fill out the paperwork and release them, and this really applies for certainly those that are not white, across the country especially in our larger cities, it's anyone and everyone just cut them loose is the directive!! Has nothing to do with white privilege, seeing where this is a tool being used to help blacks and other disenfranchised races.
