What did you go for in the end? Seems like the Two Notes is better if you want to do all the cab sim stuff, the blackstar is better if you just want a nice drive pedal.

Thx! Great playing! Do I have the option of using the cab sim only and not the drive as I can use my own amp in thx box in front? I still like my fender Amp in Box for clean for example

Glad you like the video! Hm, as far as I remember the cab sim only works when a channel is engaged- but you could use the clean channel on the Dual Drive and try if that works with your Amp in a box pedal.

Thanks for the great demo Sascha! Purely as direct to PA clean option in regards to most "amp like" tone and feel alone, how does the Dual Drive/cabrig compare to the Carl Martin Ampster you had? I assume the DD can be set (c1) clean but sometimes these pedals can sound thin when set clean. Cheers :)

With the Blackstar you have more sound options, simply because of the Cab Rig feature. The Ampster only has the analog speaker sim. Only if you combine the Ampster with something like the Two Notes Cab M you will get better results, at least in my opinion.

@@SRguitar thank you so much for the reply ok so you’d actually prefer the Blackstar? I have a cab loader so it’s not an issue anyhow. Just wondering more about the preamp section feel haha Sorry for the questions, it’s hard to compare these as there isn’t any Ampsters here in Australia currently I believe.

How much % it's better, than dual ht?
