I have a Blackstar HT Stage 100 and it's the best sounding amp I've owned since I started playing in 1975.

This really is one hell of a package for 3 Benjamins. Well done, Blackstar. Guitarists are spoiled these days and I'm loving every minute of it. Great demo as always, Pete!

This track is SMOKIN"!! I think I need a cigarette and a nap, I don't even smoke cigarettes. This is intriguing, I love watching this industry evolve. Pete have you ever thought about dipping your toe in the soundtrack pool, video game, T.V. movies? You have obvious compositional chops, it could prove to be quite lucrative.

That is exactly what I was thinking. I've managed to sell a few tunes to TV/cable shows, but Pete's guitar stylings have me wishing I'd picked up the tuba.

Great demo Pete and what an interesting and very versatile pedal! Love the last part where you did the ad-hoc playing with the pedal and software, gave great insight into the multitude of capabilities!

These pedals are genius. Finally a tube pre amp that has a configurable digital cab sim feature built in. These will be amazing for recording.

I've been trying these "preamp" pedals and rackmounts for decades...it's about time we see some that actually do what they say they do and then some...and run on high plate voltage (well, enough to be in the zone). Great video Pete, as always. So far, 3 people have a thumbs down on this video which is insane. Do some people just click a video to then 'dislike' it??!!? WTF. At any rate, this pedal truly looks innovative and it sounds great.

Wow Pete that pedal can totally get the pt100 gain tones and I'll bet u can fine tune to near perfect match...there's so much versatility to this unit and it's really in the vein of what I'm after right now...the Boss ir200 has my attention as well...

Bought one based on PT. It is superb genuinely excellent.

Looks to me like some of that live gig attitude and groove is coming out in the Ytube video Pete, awesome playing.

Just got one. Tube screamer is gone. Tried it with a Vox 30 watt vtx hybrid and holy crap. Big tube amp loves it too lol. Its control knobs are quite responsive and a little goes a long way.

Cool video, as always. And an exceptional Intro-track, actually listened to it twice :D The pedal seems to do a good job, just the cab sims sounded a bit... well, lets say they are certainly usable but they kinda dont appeal to me. But im sure you can turn them off and then use an IR-Loader in the DAW

I thought the crunch sound was spectacular. Sort of wish they made a version that didn't contain the DI, cab sims, etc. and a slightly lower cost. Hey Pete! I love the harmonic progression in the breakdown section really haunting dissonances, cool stuff! Can you make a recommendation on the task chair you like? It's so difficult to record guitar on your lap while engineering the session etc. Cheers!

Was just about to say I wish it was stereo then you said it was. I’m in!!!

If it only had at least one "favorite" preset to set. I generally do not use the same EQ on clean sound as on the crunch or overdrive. I want more mids when distorted, and more scooped Twin Reverb sound whenever clean. Apart from the USB thing, I think most dual overdrive pedals out there with tubes in it has the same EQ for crunch and clean channels. But hands to your hearts not that many irl tube amps. If this pedal had at least one "favorite" setting just like you can do on Strymons, I would be all game. But nice playing as always, and the only one worth watching still when it comes to demoes.

Great demo, whatever they pay you for these it's not enough!

Hi Pete.. been waiting for your take on the Dept 10 pedals...been eying these pedals...seems worth the extra money with the di and interface capabilities as well as killer sounding drives... which is your favorite?

Reminds me of Laney IRT-Pulse but which the actual knobs for preamp settings instead of fixed values on the EQ. Amazing demo as always Pete! I'm still waiting for your "demo songs" album! Would buy it!!

At around 2:20 Pete points to the "cab sim" 1/4' out & calls it "an analog cabinet simulated out". I though Blackstar's Cab Sim was DSP aka digital signap processing. What's the scoop, guitar nerds?

Amazing playing, Pete. Cool device. The clean tone was the best imo :) Can you switch the cab sim off so i could run it into my own IRs, going directly to mixer/FOH for live, or computer for recording?

Mind blown.

How does this compare, strictly as a stomp box going into an amp, to the Tube Driver? If it’s comparable… we’ll, 2 Tube Drivers for just under $300 is a deal, and the other interface stuff is just icing on the cake!

Pete! Thanks for the video, the pedal sounds great. I have a long contract coming up overseas where it’s likely they’ll expect me to run into a clean amp or even direct to the PA. Thinking one of these as my main naughty sounds with a couple of bits in the loop and whatever else I need rather than going digital. Do you think they’re good enough as a main sound for regular work or would you recommend something else?

Pete- unrelated question if you have time. I ran mine straight out of USB to Mac. Had a lot of latency. How did you eliminate that in this demo?

Have you ever tested the Origin Revival Drive Hot Rod? Would love to know what you think about it compared to the Blackstar pedals :)

Dual channel preamp/audio interface with tons of flexibility that also packs IR & Poweramp simulation?? OMG what else more? Does it also make coffee?

I have a problem with this product, where should I put the output to the return amplifier, to the OUTPUT SECTION or to the CAB RIG? I want to use it instead of the preamp in my tube amplifier if I enter it in the OUTPUT section, the 3 channel CAB RIG switch feature doesn't work on my amplifier

What are you using on the desktop that clamps and holds the unit in place? Where can I get one?

does the interface is in and out or just out. can you hear the tracks throgh the phones out?

Is this different from the black unit?
