The 7th form of mist breathing that Muichiro uses to defeat Gyoko is one that he created himself. It did not exist prior to him. Shows you how badass he is. It’s similar to tanjiro’s fake rainbow he used against daki in season 2. That sort of illusionary style that is made from going so fast that an after image is left behind. Muichiro slows down for a moment to be seen, then accelerates again, and leaves behind a lingering image like he’s vanishing into mist. That boy is built different.

I'm impressed that English-speaking people can immediately imagine the contrast between hate and love, but I also found it strangely interesting. In Japanese, ai and koi are different words. In a broad sense, ai means loving someone kindly, and koi means being excited about love.

@@ludwigkoopa3343still no When marked, he’s the strongest we’ve seen, and given that he’s also the youngest, his potential may be the highest of all the living Hashira. But most rankings have him outside of the top 3 in overall combat strength.

Against Sanemi , it is debatable , but i would like to be in safe side , so i will say Muichirio with mark is stronger than Sanemi without marks . But everyone after marked , Muichiro shares the position with Giyu at 4. Top 3 will be - Gyomei , Sanemi and Obanai

Muichiro isn't the strongest, he isn't even close to the strongest, he is mid tier hashira (5th out of 9 hashiras to be exact -- according to feats, since manga only tells us the most powerful hashira -- gyomei (stone) and the weakest flower(insect)). 2nd and 3rd strongest are implied in the manga 2nd -- wind hashira (sanemi), 3rd -- water hashira (giyu). Muichiro only beats upper 5 because 1. his breathing style mist is a literal counter to gyokko's blood demon art 2. gyokko gets arrogant and tries to fight muichiro at close range without using his powers and gyokko isn't a close range fighter like akaza or gyutaro. If muichiro doesn't have the mark then he is one of the weakest hashira (7th out of 9). None of these are spoilers except Stone hashira being the strongest hashira which will be revealed in the next arc. --> No hashira can beat upper moon 4 after Hatred (zohakuten) comes out not even the strongest hashira (stone) can beat him let alone one of the weakest hashiras -- mitsuri (6-7th out of 9) NOTE IF ANYONE REPLIES TO MY COMMENT --> Now I know obanai and rengoku fanboys will attack me so I will only reply if you have actual facts not your random subjective opinions. I can mention feats from manga of everything I said and if you can't just don't bother.

I know people use last arc feats for obanai but you need to remember obanai was fresh and is basically useless before using yuishiro's magic talismans, obanai himself claims this vs muzan that he has the least impact before yushiro gives him and kaburamaru vision. whereas giyu was fighting upper moon 3 -- akaza before fighting muzan and not only fighting giyu heavylifted vs akaza and saved tanjiro countless times, akaza even says giyu is the most powerful water hashira ever. Giyu fights akaza --> muzan --> muzan with 1 arm --> DKT (easily the most powerful DS character according to muzan) with 1 arm. Final nail in the coffin --> giyu is equal to sanemi in hashira training arc and giyu isn;t even fighting just defending against sanemi still sameni is not able to hurt him. And sanemi is way better than obanai. Sanemi is simply better than giyu bcoz giyu is defensive hashira (water breathing is defensive breathing style in general as tanjiro also says in entertainment district arc). Sanemi is better bcoz he can dish out more damage than giyu and his sword skills are better. --> you need to also look at the fact that giyu is the only one blocking muzan's attacks with dead calm whereas all other hashiras are getting stomped until kamaboko squad comes in with yushiro's invisible talismans. Giyu easily edges out obanai and manga gives us a glimpse of how strong giyu is in sanemi vs giyu. And the giyu we see is not even at full power as sanemi says in last arc to giyu to stop holding back.

@@br0ken_107 Muichiro is currently the second-third strongest, and honestly, as an anime only you could say he is the strongest as of right now. I dont think i have to explain why Giyu and Obanai are currently below him. Gyomei and Sanemi are currently featless in anime, so if you were to scale them right now, Muichiro is the strongest as the others simply doesnt have the feats to back up their ranking just yet. And honestly, i am fine with any positioning of end of series between rank 3 and 5, since many people have different opinions, especially on those spots and you make it sound like that this ranking is set in stone. Personally, i would agree with your list, but there is no real confirmation if that ranking is actual true or not, especially since people will always fight about rank 3 - 5 places.

@@ludwigkoopa3343 currently you mean obanai and giyu without mark then yes. Unmarked hashiras are always weaker than marked hashiras except gyomei. If we count current anime list muichiro is the strongest of the 4 we have met. Muichiro (marked) > mitsuri (marked) > rengoku > tengen > mitsuri (unmarked) > muichiro (unmarked). Unmarked muichiro is pathetically weak. And 3-5 are set in stone there are no opinions, giyu stalemating an angry and going all out sanemi puts him at 3rd. muichiro got 1 shotted by kokushibo who wasnt even trying and didnt even use his sword, whereas giyu after figthing akaza was blocking muzan's attacks, if the ranking is still confusing then idk what people are high on. 3 giyu, 4 obanai 5 muichiro are fixed and manga gives hints at this literally every arc, few of them..... --> sanemi asking giyu to stop holding back twice --> obanai himself saying he has the lowest impact vs muzan --> giyu last standing hashira even though he fought the most out of all the hashiras --> obanai being useless until yushiro helps him 2 times --> akaza calling giyu the strongest water hashira ever and this is big bcoz water breathing is the most common so most demon slayers are water breathers. --> giyu with 1 hand helping tanjiro's sword turn red --> muichiro getting 1 shotted by not even 1% kokushibo now why obanai is better than muichiro. --> manga claims obanai has the best sword skills period --> highest flexibility --> holding his own with the help of 13th form tanjiro and yushiro against muzan (even though muzan was at his weakest) --> only hashira except gyomei to turn his weapon red without help or being on the verge of dying. I can tell a lot more, I have read the manga more than 10 times and own entirety of it, I even remember page numbers of major incidents. Reread the manga with these points in perspective. Manga very cleverly and clearly hints at the actual rankings without telling us directly. (now when I say rankings I mean the best versions of the characters ie with mark and amps as rengoku with mark will definitely be stronger than mitsuri with mark but unmarked rengoku is weaker than marked mitsuri) 1. gyomei 2. sanemi 3. giyu 4. obanai 5. muichiro 6. mitsuri (now unmarked ones) 7. rengoku 8. tengen 9. shinobu NOW ALL UNMARKED (now some of these can be opinion based) 1. gyomei 2. sanemi 3. giyu 4. rengoku 5. tengen 6. mitsuri 7. obanai 8. muichiro 9. shinobu

@@br0ken_107 Bro you lack serious knowledge . You are only going by emotions not logic and reasonings. Obanai is clealry stronger than Giyu because of his feats . 1. He can enter the see through world , which is the feat only the top level of swordsman can achieve, though he couldnt maintained it , but Giyu didnt even achieve it for a second. 2. Obanai achieved red blade sword on his own , with his grip strength alone , while Giyu had to clash his sword with sanemi . 3.Obanai was fighting blindly with Muzan , and taking him on alone ( though for a short period of time). Yeah he was fresh , but its muzan we are talking about not Akaza . There is a huge gap between Muzan and Akaza . Giyu couldnt even handle Akaza alone, Tanjiro was doing the most work there. Akaza was not even impressed by him , he only acknowledged the change in Giyu after he got the marks , but Obanai was fighting Muzan even without the marks for a while , and even solo fighting him with his marks. 4. Just like Giyu , Obanai also suffered a lot of damage ,specially to protect Tanjiro multiple times. Even Muzan acknowledged his sense of fighting ,muzan who never say anything good about anyone, while Akaza praised a lot about Rengoku but for giyu , he barely praised him . Just called him the strongest water hashira , which is ofcourse because of his marks. The current hashiras are all the strongest in their techniques due to the marking. Giyu shares the 4th place with Muichiro , as atleast muichiro was able to achieve see through world and the red blade on his own , these two feats put him on same level as Giyu. By the way , Sanemi and Giyu were training , not fighting to see who is better , and no matter how Sanemi looks like , he is a hashira and knows what he is doing . That dual was to see the synchronisation of their fighting styles , not to see who is stronger. And your list has one major flaw. You are basically talking about strong not powerful , cuz if it had been the list of powerful hashiras ,then Shinobu would have come 2nd , as she is the only hashira except Gyomei ,who can even hope to take on upper moon2 with just a help of 1 or 2 sugokus , there is no other hashira who can take on upper 2 alone with few helps . They all would need another hashira for help , not just some sugokus
