I don’t think Muzan was scared of Ubuyashiki, he went there personally to settle it himself. I think it’s really that simple. He let Ubuyashiki speak for so long because he didn’t feel the need to rush things. Muzan says himself he actually felt nostalgic, or “familiar”.

One thing you should know is that Lady Amane (Ubuyashiki’s wife) and their two daughters volunteered to sacrifice along with him. Not that he forced them or anything, Lady Amane really is loyal and strong, till the end she didn’t waver even when death is near, she chose to stay with him

Just so everyone knows he didn't kill his whole family! Over the series we've met all five of his children, including his heir, his only son. Three of his kids were not killed in the blast. His wife and two oldest daughters died because they wouldn't leave his side, and it actually made Muzan believe he'd killed the entire line.

To me, the biggest emotional impact in this ep was Tamayo's hatred and desperation. Imagine being locked and partly absorbed to the person you hate so much and who can torture you mercilessly even as you wait for your drugs to have the effect you want. Tamayo's sacrifice will go on for some time but what she has done is going to be the single most important thing in the whole battle.

Theres no fear at all as a Ufotable fan, because they COOKED the last time they did a Movie-Trilogy using unlimited budget works.

I screamed so hard when those holes appeared and everyone was falling. So not only had Muzan been trying to find the Demon Slayer HQ and Nezuko, he'd also kept tabs on anyone remotely dangerous and made sure he could get them at any plan, shows how long he's been waiting for this moment. But also a great emergency plan in case he needed saving. So excited for the 3 movies!

When gyomei screamed it's muzan!! Chills Straight down the spine! And everyone seeing the man the myth the muzan for the first time 🤌🤌

Ikr! I loved that delivery from Gyomei's VA. In that moment, you've helped orchestrate a plan to put the DS corps' number 1 op on the ropes and are now rallying all the hashira, who've assembled to back you up, giving you the chance to end a centuries old beef once and for all... They really nailed the gravity of that moment 👌🏿

I'm so glad this was a longer episode, cause it was paced PERFECTLY. The slow built-up to Ubuyashiki's self-sacrifice was so GOOD, and then literally EVERYTHING that happened after, from Tamayo coming in clutch, to Gyomei popping the eff OFF with the animation, to all the Hashira converging on Muzan only for them, along with the ENTIRE DEMON SLAYER CORPS getting sucked into the Infinity Castle, made for arguably Demon Slayer's greatest episode to date. THIS is how you do a freaking cliffhanger.

In the manga is just some simple panels but the anime made it way way better with the music and camera movement. Ufotable is the best

Ubuyashiki faced Muzan without a hint of fear, called him trash to his face, called his immortality worthless, and exploded himself just to deny him the satisfaction of dying by his hands. He went to heaven smiling, because he knows Muzan will fall into hell screaming.

The cliffhangers keep getting more and more filthy. And Ubu is petty as hell for how much he put into that explosion plan but King behavior. And Gyomai’s slide, gosh. Can’t wait to see what’s next! “Go stand in the sun” y’all hilarious.

Ubuyashiki thought he had Muzan in his trap, but Muzan said “hee hee YOUVE ACTIVATED MY TRAP CARD! INFINITY CASTLE” 😂😂

That is something that the Manga did it's best to show as a crazy thing before this, but there's only so much you can do on still pages, even if it was great too. But seeing it moving around, twisting even when nothing was happening, where even fast demons like the lower moon that got decapitated can't get out, or seeing Akaza falling into it and passing hella rooms and foreshadows of the arenas that are coming up where he's falling for like 4 minutes, it shows the massive scale of everything. Especially during the swordsmith village arc with all the upper moons spread around and on different levels and directions while Muzan is upside down to them and acting normal. Ufotable has always been nuts with animation and it's going to be insane seeing all the crazy motion that's going to be coming up

@@natalimoina That's not correct at all. Manga cannot show the infinity castle as the creator imagined it. There was no long moving sequence of Akaza moving through the infinity castle in the manga. We just got the chime and he was at the meeting spot. Ufotable did all the heavy lifting here.

I forgot that none of them had ever seen Muzan in person, yet Tanjiro casually ran into him S1. I just hope they cook like season 2 that redlight district fight (Why ar you sweating) was fire!

Yeah, this is definitely episode of the year. Knocked it out of the park with this part of the story. They actually got me excited to watch a final arc get split into 3 movies.

​@@slobertooth1358I think the reason why the mugen movie feels the same as the anime is that they don't know if they will profit from it, so they didn't pour that much budget and effort they just done their best but not beyond, BUT NOW?? THEY KNOW NOW, theres a lot of audiences that will watch this movie around the world, they will make it SO BEAUTIFUL, CAUSE THEY KNOW NOW IT'S TIME.

Ubuyashiki's wife and his two daughters insisted on dying with him to not let him die alone and in order to make even more credible the trap that he had for Muzan. And it work so well that Muzan couldn't even tell Ubuyashiki's intentions.

The reason Ubuyashiki’s wife and two of their daughters were there is bc they chose to stay with him. As he said, he knew Muzan was coming, so they set the trap for him. They just wanted to be with him in the end. He still has a couple younger daughters that weren’t there, only the two oldest stayed with them.

Ubuyashiki wife are one of the strongest character in demon slayer, even knowing everything she still support her husband and doesnt show fear or doubt in front of Muzan, and thats how you make strong female character Hollywood

Nakime was tracking the demon slayers which is why they all went to the castle
