I stand corrected. A Davit is a single arm crane much like the pair that hold a life boat. I gantry appears to be supported on 2 sides much like a traffic signal or railroad crossing that supports the lights. I strive to learn something new everyday and have had a successful day.

I grew up 3 miles east of Vets Stadium in L.B. Enjoy your Father's Day.

Speaking od sandrails and Porsches, i have a dune buggy tnat i inherited from my grandfather that has a 1963 3 liter Porsche air cooled flat six engine. My grandfather rebuilt and modified it to develop almost 300 horsepower and the car is a blast to drive. It spends almost as much time airborne as it does on the ground and has a top speed over 120mph.

@@Andy_Hinners both, I'm Swedish and Latvian, Plus I worked at an airport, And evey time I marshaled airplains into park, the pilot would apologize for leaving the radar on, which happened about a dozen times, so.... I'm thinking it saved me alot of grief, but fried my balls.

My brother in-laws Grandfather left him a Model A. He had put yellow pin stripes on it and the louvers. When he had it fixed he had them just polishe the paint out to keep what his Grandfather did . It looks great for how old it is.

Merlin, Please find a Porsche 914-2. Fun to drive easy to work on. Cheap to buy, fix it up & sale it or drive it. The 6 cylinders sale for stupid money, even if it was a 4 & you convert it to a 6 or a GT conversion. I’ve seen some in such poor condition it’s yours to take it away. You do some amazing work. Fun to watch. Happy Fathers Day.

Happy Father's Day, buddy! For my sweet, amazing, drop-dead gorgeous wife and I today is super duper extra special!!! You see, 40 years ago today, we exchanged vows, and under the loving, watchful eyes of our Heavenly Father, the two became one!!!!!! I must admit it is very difficult to not be proud or boastful when I talk about this because sadly far too few couples stay together these days to be able to share this news and that truly does sadden me...😢

Happy father's day to you as well. I haven't braze welded in 20 years I wonder if I still can. Way better way to seal your gas tank when it flows it fill's all holes. Fun build you have going on a 200hp 356 would scare the hell out of anyone and you know how to build one. Build a 400hp motor and dust everyone on the street on a 235 radial, you know you want to do it.

The drop cord work light is definitely old school.
