It's a first dance for the bride and groom at their wedding. Stunning song by Freddie.

Rock Waltz. This is one of many hidden gems; love the piano bass intro. Thanks!

I loved it. I love Freddie’s songs too, though he made all Queen’s songs sound like he could have written them, the emotions in his voice matched, but still, your great interpretation and musical knowledge plus obviously knowing Queen’s music … love your reaction. Thanks. It hurts to hear how talented he really was and I still think not appreciated enough while alive. I wonder what he’s thinking of all this happening now, still, and us. RIP Freddie. A legend…you absolutely became who you said you would. 👍❤

Supposedly Freddie wrote this to honor John Reid, their new manager, who was rescuing the band from the poverty they were in due to a bad deal they had made with Trident Studios. They had made three albums, had a couple top ten hits and no money. I love your description of this song as "quirky and Victorian"...that sounds perfect. There was often an undercurrent of amusement in Freddie's compositions which I find so endearing. I look forward to your next Queen reaction.

You really need to react to Freddie Mercury and the Spanish operatic Soprano Montserrat Caballé duets. Particularly Barcelona and The Golden Boy.

You got it! It has Freddie written all over it. I just love it, with the harmonies it is another of one of Queen's masterpieces, IMO. Thanks for the reactions, much appreciated.
