*IT CAN BE MELDED NOW* On September 30 2020, update version 15.01, the Mighty Bow jewel was added to the Elder Melder (also Elementless Jewel 2, Shield Jewel 2, Sharp Jewel 2, Dragonseal Jewel 3 and Mind's Eye Jewel 2.) That means you can exchange a bunch of decos you don't want for that specific one. It isn't expensive. I hope people watching the video sees this comment, would be cool if it got pinned.

Just do The Name's Lavasioth over 200 times. I eventually got guard up, minds eye and mighty bow. Put on a good audiobook and hunt it quickly with bow.

But you can get Capacity Boost from Elder Melder with Silver Tickets. So just head to the guiding lands, farm there 1 hour for bones and ore. And then let the mini game run, get silver tickets and in no time you will have it

@@m.h.4907 jsut so you know, its harder getting silver/gold tickets without any festival events, i suggest stack up on fuel and just AFK your character in the steam works DURING festival events , way waaay higher chance for silver/gold tickets :)

TFK 23 I was a good 600-700 hours in before I got capacity boost and now I can’t stop getting them. I do main CB, but I want that Sonorous Jewel + 4 😭

Got it immediately after watching a TDS Bow Build guide and seeing that I need one, literally the next mission, which was my 6th Greatest Jagras mission overall. Laughed my ass off. I was a new player as well, was only around 60HR and not even completely done with Iceborne main quest line.

I got mine finally from The Great Jagras event quest that just came back. I highly recommend doing this event for old decorations because the amount of decos he drops is INSANE. I had been playing for 400+ hours, and got mine finally after 2 Great Jagras runs.

Me And My Friend Have Done Some Extensive Testing On This And We've Agreed That The Greatest Jagras Was The Better Source Of Farming, While Lava Fish Drops Quality, The Jagras Gives Quantity Which Usually Ends Up Being 2-3 Good Decos And The Rest Are Just Utility Decs. Meld All Excess Decos At Melder Will Some Gleaming Stream Stones That's How I Got My Guard Up.

Lavasioth gives more warped jewelry therefore more chance for rare decos. Jagras is good when you barely have any of the base decos (Attack, Critical Eye, Vitality, etc)

Silver Tickets definitely give Mighty Bow decos. I have 2 Mighty Bow decos . And 2 Minds Eyes. Naturally, I'm a HBG main, and the Guard Up deco refuses to drop.

You can farm worn feystones with Elder Melder using other decos. It works like: 1st time drop is poop, 2nd time it gets better, 3rd time you should get the best loot then it resets. If you do 1st draw and get nothing, go on the quest/expedition whatever, then return and do it again, you will automatically get the best drop afterwards (that is if I recall correctly). Got few nice jewels like that feeding the jewels I won't ever use lol ;).

So happy you put this info up!! I still don’t have guard up....Guard Up has a drop rate of 0.30% from Warped feystones. Easier to be struck by Lightning.

I remember when you were telling people those events were a waste of people's time😒, I tried to disagree but I'm sure I don't have to tell you how that went.

I feel so lucky now, literally built my first bow set, saw a video about the mighty bow jewel and got it randomly within three or four quests xD

What's up gameconomist,I got my Mighty Bow Jewel,after 1000 hours in from a HR Tempered Odogeron,man I was so happy,I'm 1500 hours in now and haven't seen another one since.Very rare drop.

RNGesus Unfortunately because of the number of decoration in existence alongside new one on Iceborne, although unlikely there is a chance that you might never get every single decoration despite grinding for them, if only there is an increase of chance in getting the decoration that you don't have compared to a copy of a decoration that you already have I fortunately have every single old jewel but I can see how some people might not have the luck or new player that didn't grind enough of old content like greatest jagras etc would have a very hard time since increase of the jewel pool on Iceborne which mean a lower chance of getting anything specific I really wish Capcom would either make all if not most Jewel tradable on elder melder/craftable on smithy or make some kind of system where you are guarantee to get the item you want though it might require a lot of material/grind

Not sure if anyone else notices but I seemed to not get many of these deco's until I "got one" then it seemed to rain them all the time(like silver melding tickets) unfortunately, still havent "unlocked" Guard Up....after like 1200 hours

I remember having a hard time to get the Guard Up jewel, having more than 500 hours in Iceborne and still no sight of it, until I went back to beat the "The Name's Lavasioth" quest and got it on the first try. You're definitely have a higher chance to get the Mighty Bow jewel with this quest.

You can get the Critical boost jewel from Silver melding tickets and it has very similar loot table on the wiki (only worn and warped marked with same percentage odds). I suppose its possible to get the mighty bow too from Silver melding. Edit. The wiki might be incorrect or so I had heard.

Yes, I would be very interested in builds without might bow, I’m getting into bow, it is a great weapon, but lacking that decoration makes the effort twice as hard.

Not gonna lie its almost pointless playing it without the deco,aside from it being the biggest damage increase to bow, you also build bad habits that you'll need to change when you eventually get it. But just have fun, there are builds if you dont have it, just look around

The bows freakin awsome. Its my 2nd. First time i saw it played "right?" it blew my mind away. I was using it super slow up until the first kushala fight and some dude just wrecked it dbz style with the charge dash and spread shots.

Honestly, just do a crit boost instead. It's not great but it's something. The 3 normal > spread combo is about the same, spamming dash > normal > spread > dash > normal > spread is about 10% in favor of mighty bow in my builds. It's the 4 normal > spread that greatly favors mighty bow. The biggest thing though is if you have fun then it's worth it. It's a game, it's not about running optimal BiS at all times.

i didnt know that mighty bow jewel was so hard to get, inn fact it was one of the very first innnteresting jewels i've got in mh, critical boost in the other hand, it took me 400hrs+ of gameplay to get :S

Other than Attack decorations (obviously), the thing I had the hardest time unlocking in base game was Artillery. Just wish I had known Spread/Power and Normal Shots would gain another tier in Iceborne so I didn't meld my extras ages ago... Had to farm more of them when it came out.

yeah, it can drop from silver, i have seen another video on youtube where a dude cashed in as many silver as he could at once, not only did mighty bow drop, but spread and normal shots dropped all at the same time. i could never be that lucky.

Funny you upload this the day after I got 2 might bow jewels....yea, I literally got 2 of em yesterday from farming tempered velkhanas in the guiding lands.

When I went to flora frostbite event quest about 3 times more than after a fight with great jaguars or lavasoith finally, I got a few decorations like refresh, mighty and mighty bows jewels

Restarted an account. I spammed the events (Jagras, Lavasioth, and Steam) like hell. I got every jewel multiple times, almost 30 of each of the same rarity, even two more Mind’s Eye. I gave up. Played insect glaive on HR Vaal Hazak and you know what dropped. Yep. THAT.

I’m a longsword player, I don’t ever touch bows, and I got this yesterday from a first Wyverian ritual lol.

I was surprised at how the damage jumped from 60+ to 70+ when i had Bow charge plus equipped and doing spreadshot, it's trully a must have deco

Yah it becomes extremely apparent when your making a new build and forget to put it on.

Got my single Mighty Bow Jewel from the Silver tickets after almost 900hrs of play, I've farmed tons of Lavasioth and tempered investigations but never got a single one, but the few times I've did the Silver Alchemy method rewarded me with a larger amount of quality decos than any other method so far. Even if you don't get the Mighty Bow you may still get some other rare ones while you do it. Guard Up deco however is stil a dream and I'm past 1k hrs now. Can't wait for the next festival.

Guard Up drops from Master Rank Tempered. It is still freakishly rare, took me 400+ HR and 320+ MR to get. Also I think there is an algorithm that lower the chances if you havent finished all the optional quests. Rare Jewels started dropping for me recently after I decided to finish the optionals just for lols

Deco drops in this game are literally insane. I farmed at the end game of base world. ~430 ish HR I had only 1 handicraft and release gem and not a single force shot jewel to my name. I’ve gotten quite a few since then but those event quests was capcom addressing that god awful rng. So I’m happy we’ve gotten so many more options.

After doing some research (reading comments), the best way to get the rare jewel you want is by not looking for it. It's like when you missing your key or something, you never find them when you were looking for it, but found it when looking for something else.

I'm blessed enough to have all decorations needed to make any build in base game. Mighty bow, spread, forceshot, guard up etc. Thank you RNG.

I farmed greatest jagras for hours a while back and after watching this video remembered that I wanted to try now eventually and that I really need guard up for my HBG and lance. I got a mighty bow jewel first try this time around. Still no guard up tho

I play on PC and the events quests are on currently, i got 3 mighty bows and protective polish in 1 day from farming the greatest jagras but no guard up yet

i did the hr event quest for tempered lavisioth to farm for guard up aswell, did like 20+ runs and got it, along with a handful of crit boosts ,mighty bow and some other nice ones, he is kinda annoying because he has shitty hitzones but with explosive dmg like gunlance or bowguns you can kill him really easy and fast

I pulled 2 mighty bow jewels from silver melding tickets within about 20 minutes of each other, and my friend got spread and normal shots from his. It may not be optimal but they do definitely drop all of the decorations a bow user wants.

it does drop in silver melding ticket. im pretty sure it gives 7 and 8 rarity deco (bec. free elem/ammo up is too common there and its rarity 8.). gold is exclusive in rarity 9 up i think.

Watching this video makes me appreciate that I have a really rare gem; Mind's Eye, which also follows the same rule as Guard Up and Mighty Bow

Actually the elder melder steamworks farm gives this decoration. Infact I got all my ultra rare ones from doing that. Prior to that farming, I didnt even know things like a mushroom mancer, minds eye, or handicraft gems existed. That's after 800 plus hours if playing.

The Desire Sensor is real. Back in vanilla I got like 7 Might Bows while looking for Mind's Eye. I only got it when they gave it away as a Login Bonus. Regardless, that mission rocks! Ready your Safi's Aquashot, set up your farm, load your Sticky Ammo and go hunt that Lavasioth.

I was lucky enough to get it on my first Lavasioth try once I reached the required level to do the quest. Got the a guard up also from Lavasioth. Got my second Mighty Bow Jewel from the siover melding but haven't seen a second Guard up, yet.

I thought getting these qas hust much easier innthe quest. But many many tries later found that I was still very veey lucky.

I have a few of these, what I don't have is Guard Up and Critical Boost! It drives me crazy!

I could of swore i seen a guide somewhere on youtube that told all optional quests that have to be completed before unlocking certain stuff and i could of swore their was some for decorations? But i can't seem to find the video again. So is their any decorations that are gated behind optional quests or things you must do first? The reason i ask is because when using melding tickets for deco's i notice each time for steel for instance i get the exact same deco's every time even the 3 stars to one stars are exactly the same everyime i turn them in with 40 at a time.

It's a good thing the greatest jagras and lavosioth are active. I got my mighty bow jew from melding lol

Uragaan armour comes with Partbreaker, whoch is great for Shara Ishvalda head runs and any siege!

Funny enough, watched this video and went straight to the melder to use my streamstones.... Aaaand the mighty bow dropped, after 500 hours looking for it. Guess I owe you a big thank you for this lol.

carved and sealed still give u mighty bow.. if u search mighty bow, then you might play with bow and probably u will also need tenderizer/physique 4 decoration which only comes from sealed feystone.. so it's better to farm in T3 MR.

I have been playing Bow through out World and have the game from when it came out...i switched to Hammer from the moment i got Iceborne and then not even the Gratest Jagras gave it to me..until a couple of weeks ago..just before Alatreon came in..900 hours of gameplay in i got one feystone from a mission and alas finally i got the mighty bow dangiit FINALLYYYY!!

I just finished the Great Jagras HR Quest and Yes, Mighty Bow Jewel drops on me in 1 try. :D

I've been farming trying to get the Mighty Bow Jewel for a while and got it from a Threat lvl 3 tempered Bazel Investigation... I have a screenshot too ^^

guild alchemy can give mighty bow, guard up, mind's eye, sharp jewel etc from silver ticket melding.

No it cant anymore. The loot table for the blossom festival changed. You could get those in january but not anymore

I got mighty bow from guild alchemy, as well as several crit eye and attack jewel lvl 1. I’ve gotten 1 mighty bow jewel, 2-3 attack jewel and 4 crit eye jewels. I got this awhile back so it could have been from the feystone melding. Nevertheless it’s 100% possible. One tip is to use the melding tickets to meld as many gems as possible then meld those gems for the feystones.
