Having an air bleeder on the housing is amazing.

A lot of Jeeps have it because of the weird dynamics of their systems. With the front on ramps it doesn't do much though because it'll push the air back to the radiator.

Just a question why didn’t you use the bleeder screw? Is it not necessary with that funnel?

Yep, with the funnel setup it isn't necessary.

Do not follow that advice, just use the bleed screw.

Do not follow this video. He failed to open the bleed screw on the thermostat to properly burp the system, this could result in damage.

If you use the funnel fill correctly you don't need to. The Jeep has been working just fine. If you don't have the tool, yes you should use the bleeder screw. I should have mentioned that.
