Any advise getting to the sensor above the rear sensor on the cat? Bank 2 sensor 1. (Drivers side obviously). I’m really fighting to get access to it. I saw when you removed the sensor on the cat there was a clear view of it. Not sure if that’s the only way. Seems impossible to access from the top.

So I just swapped out both rears on my 2011 grand Cherokee…I was actually able to use an offset O2 socket. Took off the oil pan off and on drivers side I also took off the next bracket (you’ll know which one I mean when under the jeep) to make it easier. Thanks for the help!!

How many O2 sensors are there in this jeep and if there are others, where are they located? I have this same year and model just v6

Why cut the wire. Just unplug the wiring at the connector and slide the box end down. Provided connector fits through the box end. Some don’t. Or just use the “crow foot” O2 sensor socket and be done.

Plug wouldn't fit through the box end. O2 sensor socket was tight against the body. Plus just showing how to do it with standard tools. A lot of people don't have an O2 socket or flare nut wrench.
