For someone still grieving after my sisters passing, not by cancer, but she died. This is what I needed to see to understand when you die, you have 40 more days to go through your life until finally crossing over. ❤ I Hope my sister can still hear me.

This scene really struck a nerve in me. I'm not one to cry during films, but this got me good.. The roller coaster I was taken on by my view of her character made it difficult to love her, but devastating to lose her. What a sad, beautiful, and relative story with brilliant acting. Thank you Mike Flanagan 😭

One of the best series of this year. Just beautiful

I had TB when I was young and it was complicated by severe asthma, my prognosis was dire and they believed that even with the treatment I would not reach 11, so they referred me to a hospital with other terminally ill children, but a year later I improved and I was able to continue my treatment outside, I couldn't keep in touch, they were in a restricted area and we didn't have smartphones at that time, after 2 years and I totally got over TB, but I saw that some didn't, years later I met my Dr, he was very surprised when He honestly believed that I would not make it and he told me that 60% of the boys I met in the hospital did not make it. This scene hurt me a lot more than anything else

Once she said goodnight and it cut to the empty bed I knew she was gone

As soon as they showed the ballet doll with the legs fixed I started sobbing uncontrollablly

one of the best episodes of 2022.

She annoyed me at first but she grows on me as the story goes on, so sad that she got to die first. But ilonka though, girl annoyed me till the end lmao

Bro I stopped watching after the 3rd episode because Ilonka annoys me so much. Like of course she’s in a lot of pain, but compared to the others she’s just so, so selfish.

Watching Ruth Codd on "The Fall of the House of Usher" convinces me that "The Midnight Club" should have gone further, if only for Codd to have chew more TV scenery. Juno Usher was fun and all, but I'm sure Anya had more to show if they'd done a second season, even if she was dead.

I hated about half the cast and l their stories and the other half I didn’t care for. Ilonka, Anya, Ahmed, and Natsuke were fantastic in my opinion and on rewatches I pretty much only watch their episodes. Couldn’t stand any of the other characters

Fuck Netflix this show had so much potential

Honestly, Anya is my favorite character in the entire series. And the fact that she was Ruth’s first professional role probably made Ruth my first celebrity crush Talking of crushes, I was absolutely crushed when Anya died. I kept asking over and over again, why it had to be her and not someone else, even though I somehow knew from the beginning that she wasn’t going to last. She’s a character that really hit hard. Her personality and everything- when she passed, I called my friend all teared up just saying ‘she died, Anya died’ and I didn’t even know that entirely fictional series could make me feel so many emotions

She did die sadly. What she experienced in that episode was playing out while she was in a coma.

@@sunshine20yearsago51 It seems the doll is more of a metaphor. The broken leg of it symbolising a dark period of her life. When she passed away she was finally at peace and got to put it all behind her so an unbroken statue then symbolises this.

Anya is a beautiful soul and im positive the day she died there was a sunset that has never been so beautiful
