I love this song! I didn't know "Ripple wine" so I was wondering when I was child in early 80's. Recently I finally found it's picturers in the website, But I have never seen "Ripple wine "in Japan, so I am still wondering about it's taste. I love lyric of this song!! I love Hoyt Axton's original song too. Grate song! ***** I don't need no diamond rings I didn't ning no cadillac car I just wanna drink my Ripple wine Down in the lightning bar

"You will find that ripple wine is said to be a 'low-end fortified wine' that became very popular in the 1970s. This was mainly due to the fact this wine was a lot cheaper to buy and was normally bought with the intention of getting very drunk, very quickly."

All of you need a hat or shades. Really?

  • @nowaynogood248

Well, there's no "regular" stage lights. That's a theatre stage and there's just bright lights aimed at the players. From experience I can tell that it is nicer to have shades on with lights like that. Do you need them? Not necessarily, but it makes it more enjoyable to be on stage.
