Hinchcliffe seems like the type to show up when things matter most. That's my concern for Maswanganyi and Oghenebrume, who both have run very fast, but haven't yet seemed to be able to run their fastest times when it actually matters. Hinchcliffe actually reminds me of De Grasse in college, beating the arguably faster but slower-on-the-day Bromell when it counted.

I can't believe Hinchcliffe, an athlete from Sheffield, who went to a local university in the UK is making waves in the US. This result also places him as the fastest sprinter with Asian heritage this year. Can't wait to see if he can make it to the GB team...

OK, it's interesting, for anthropological nerdy types at least, his being English and Filipino, but "the fastest sprinter with Asian heritage this year"? That doesn't matter worth a lick in any competition. Time and speed don't care about ethnic make-up. And you could just as easily say he's among the fastest English sprinters. Let's enjoy Louie as the unique human being he is with a hearty Congrats on a most impressive victory! God bless him with health, prosperity, greater development.

I listened to them and tried streak running for four years. In the end I could not walk. I could run and them in the last week of the streak I could neither walk nor run. Carl Lewis is the best run advisor on You Tube. There is a guy from Holland who is close. But Lewis tells one all one needs to know in one video and what he says is good technique for any distance. Nostradamus thanks for highlighting Carl Lewis the best run advisor on KZread and in collage and pro running.

Congrats to Louie Hinchliffe! He flew like lightening. Unfortunately, I doubt he'll ever win Olympic Gold because of his size. It's genetic and there's nothing he can do about it. Like Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt, to break world records, your body must be a freak of nature too. Can Louie Hinchliffe shave off a half second? No way... but I hope he proves me wrong. Greatness always proves doubters wrong. Regardless, I'm on Team Louie Hinchliffe.

Yes, for 60 meters I don't doubt that both of these men would beat Usain Bolt at his best 60 meter time. 100 meters is a different animal. I'm simply being hawkish. I hope I'm proven wrong.

@@davidhunternyc1 Coleman may not be the favorite to win an Olympic gold in the 100, but he's certainly a contender. A 9.76 time is a good bet to win gold in any Olympic year, especially now that Bolt is retired.

You didn't notice all the Japanese teams making the 4x100 and 4x400 finals in the last few WC and Olympics (especially the men's teams). If you can put 4 guys together and make a final, you've got some serious talent. Lots of 4th place finishes, hopefully they can make the podium in the near future.
