@@hayden990 Yeah but actual whales in irl are dying too, from actual human doings. I think they brought up a good point like yeah it's just a production on screen but irl it hits different. These things actually die, mostly under unnatural circumstances in which we humans caused. This is just a shark eating a whale but the whale was dead by bombing, not so different by how we hunt fish in the sea by bombing which is illegal but hey people still do it.

I love how they only send a single boat and a small helicopter to do the mission.

By the time they would have noticed him or called the boat it would’ve been too late. Or if they used the ladder it still would’ve been too late. The Meg was already coming after the whale, likely not seeing Dwight on it. If they had seen him even a minute before the Meg get there and had time to use a ladder, the prehistoric fish would’ve bitten him AND the ladder, pulling them to their deaths as well. There was literally nothing they could do because even the boat had to GTFO and not have time to stop.

well that boat engine was pretty loud and by the time morris yelled the engine was really loud so its pretty simple that they couldn't hear him

I mean, the guy that fell into the water wasn't too smart either. He probably should've taken the chance that the shark would choose the huge whale over a small human and swim away from the whale. The only reason he got munched is for whatever reason he decided to hang on to the whale for safety when that was the sharks target.
