That "I'm not well" definitely had me choking back tears. Rest in peace, Alex. Thank you for all the years of knowledge and entertainment you gave us all. ❤

Alex Trebek has always kept a positive attitude whether he was sick or not. Sadly, the part where Alex jokingly says "I'm not well" hits totally different now because he is no longer with us. RIP to the legendary Jeopardy host. Godspeed, Mr. Trebek. We all love and miss you being there at the Jeopardy stage.

Well Dale also said that restrictor plate racing was going to end up killing someone. Guess some things are irony and some are just foretold

This obviously hits differently because Alex is sadly no longer with us, but I really love the man’s sense of humor and how he just pokes fun at himself. Even him jokingly saying “I’m not well” at the end was funny. Nevertheless, I really miss him.

Worst part is that Alex could’ve been telling the truth when he said he isn’t well. He did not talk of his cancer until it was in a bad condition. R.I.P to a legend!

Man, I know everyone is talking about Alex but I must take a moment to appreciate the sheer magnitude of Dave's mustache. Seriously, was he cosplaying Yosemite Sam at San Diego Comic Con when a Sony exec overheard him talking about trivia and immediatle pulled him out of line and threw him on tv because someone else had to cancel?

Alex Trebek's strength to carry on doing what he loves shows that I have ZERO excuses ❤️

Boy, do I miss Dave. When I first started watching Jeopardy a couple years ago, he was the 2nd contestant, and won 4 or 5 days in a row. That mustache made me so happy, I don't know why.

He’s the GOAT. They don’t make game show hosts like Alex and Bob Barker anymore. Now they just use whatever has been actor or in a lot of cases“ never have been” actors. I miss the good ole days

This is really quite sad considering two years later he would be gone. I still can't think of Jeopardy and anybody else as the host, even watching Ken Jennings do his best Trebek impersonation (Jennings is actually doing a fair job, if I can be honest.)

I was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in 2013. After immunotherapy and surgery and radiation, chemo and A TON OF PRAYERS, my cancer is undetectable. I’m going to pray for Alex Trebek he will honestly be in my daily prayers. I believe in the power of almighty God, please acknowledge him Alex, let us know you appreciate our prayers to Jesus Christ. We are a army of praying people. Let us know your in that army as well. God bless you.

He most likely did. Pancreatic cancer usually becomes symptomatic in late stages. By the time Alex got wise to it, it was already too late.
