The mechanics of springlocks and springlock suits (complete animation)

Ойындар

This video is the completion of a two year journey making and remastering how springlocks work. The original video is my most popular video at this time and has around thirty-eight thousand views. It’s only twelve seconds and is pretty crappy. The remaster has about a thousand. Now this is old as well. And I have this. I’m glad it’s finished. It’s around a minute twenty seconds.

In case you guys haven't read the description or my recent community post, this is the third and final remastering of an animation I did two years ago and my most popular video "how springlocks work." I definitely understand how it became so popular and it got to thirty-eight thousand views. It looked cool and seemed like a simple twelve second visual explanation of the mechanics of springlocks. But I do not understand the amount of love that video has. "It looks cool" as in how this animation looks cool but ten times more simple. The actual animation is dog crap. that's why I did the first remaster around a year later. adding more complex visuals, better animation, and two seconds. but I look back at that and think that is dog crap. here I am two years later from the first one, and it's now over a minute and I love the thought and effort I put in to this one. so many layers and moving parts I had to keep track of. I simply loved it. If you want to the original, click here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZYeut5KDmsayZso.html for the original remaster, click here: ttps://kzread.info/dash/bejne/gISautmgmcvKlbQ.html Also, I made this before the FNaF movie came out, so I totally predicted how the FNaF movie ended.

not really probably the ones used in stage and performing was well maintenance springlock suit which would opposite of what you said in order to them fail. it would be exteremly hard like only if you really want to die and start hitting trying to break them. suits definitely would have waterproof paddings or springlocks protected by waterproof covers. most springlock failures mostly happen by old unmaintenanced suits.

I’m not too sure about waterproof covers, as it seems they not to big on health and safety, and the fact that these things exist already raises a bunch of red flags. Plus, springtrap goes off while he was soaked in rain water, and phone guy outright says don’t get water on the suits. But overall, yeah. Unless you were actively trying to set them off or the suit was really old and broken, it is unlikely that they would fail. Springlocks don’t actually go off as easily as they lead you to believe.

Realistic demonstration of springlock failures: You sweat. It's hot in this suit. A drop of sweat trickles down on your lip. You let out a angry sigh, making the drop of sweat fly onto one of the springlocks. You hear metal shifting, and scraping. All of a sudden, with a bang, your vision goes black,, you are still alive though. You feel your jaw split and start to bleed. The blood causes more springlock failures to happen. The rib cage of the endoskeleton crushes your body. You try to scream, you can't. Your lungs are flooded in your own blood. When you scream only more blood comes out your mouth. The blood causes a springlock around the neck to go off, cutting your vocal cords. You try to scream again, but open wheezes come out. Hooks shove their way into your eye sockets, pulling them open, making room for the endo eyes. Your eyes get replaced by the animatronics eyes. You can't move. You feel the suit soaking in your own blood. You can't breathe, hear or move. You are still alive though. As your organs fall out your chest towards your hips, your stomach aside and blood cause one last springlock to go off. It cuts your junk off. You feel numb. You can't move, all you can do is feel the pain. You know your dying, but for a long time. You want to die. But death won't come. Finally, you are rewarded with the sweet relief, of death.

    @-S.F.K.

    8 ай бұрын

This quote is from the books, which are inconsistent in almost every way possible, besides the fact that there’s locks that hold the endo. Nonetheless, this quote is mostly correct, but realistically, the amount of blood is inaccurate. A drop of sweat wouldn’t make good springlocks go off, it takes a lot more effort than that. But with an old broken suit such as Williams, it will easily go off. Most of the endo parts couldn’t actually crush you, as you stated the most they can do is crush them. But their are some around the mouth, neck, top of the head, and a bit more that can cut skin. The most dangerous ones are the ones around the neck. It would suffocate you. It would cut you. I have never been a fan of those realistic springlock failure audio videos that have been circulating, as they aren’t grounded in reality. Yes, you would scream, whilst struggling, but the bone damage would be minimal, and actual crushing would be incredibly muffled. You wouldn’t actually hear this like cracking spaghetti, you wouldn’t really hear it at all. And the blood spattering sounds like actual water being tossed around, but blood isn’t water. And there isn’t actually that much blood loss. Realistically, the only thing you’d actually hear is the sound of struggled, muffled, screaming and yelling. Overall, springlock suits aren’t as dangerous as people seem to believe, but are still potentially lethal. If you act quick, you can escape mostly unharmed. Though you’d have holes in your mouth, a very few broken bones, and markings all over your body.

I too have some flaws and inconsistencies as well, but they are incredibly minor it can be brushed of. I have studied this subject for years and years with extensive research, posting, getting criticized, and growing from there. I have gotten to the point where I have a very high understanding of springlock suits and how some parts of springlock suits may confuse people. I have rattled my brain for ages and can now answer most of the confusing bits around them. I am actually making a video fairly soon, addressing the questions I see asked the most.

In essence, here's how a Springlock Suit works. - In Robot Mode, the Springlocks don't actually make the robot move, they just bring in components of the robot like Hydraulic Parts or even Electric Motors that make the Suit function like a Robot. If you rewind the Springlocks, these parts will retract into the exterior of the suit, giving enough room for a specifically sized human to fit in and wear the suit. There are also some endoskeleton parts that give the Robot its shape (so it doesn't collapse down onto the ground because of the heavy machinery and exterior suit). - In Suit Mode, yet again, pieces of the endoskeleton and machinery are compressed to the outside of the suit, which allows a decently sized human to fit inside the suit, filling the gaps, etc. - The reason why there are Springlocks in the suit instead of a singular screw that screws all these parts tight is because the springs allow the Robot to be flexible. Imagine if you accidentally screw in something too loose, the robot just falls apart or gets unstable. You need a spring to constantly put pressure on all the parts of the Robot so that they always fit together. I know that was long, but that's how a Springlock Suit works, and that's why we even have Springlocks in the Suit.

Flip a clip. It’s a mobile app that mimics the act of cel animation digitally, at least the way I use it. What’s cel animation? During the entirety of the last century, animators would draw everything by hand. For the background they would use a piece of paper that they paint on, and for the characters, they used translucent “paper” called cels. The translucent factor makes the background visible. The background remains consistent while the characters on the cels would be drawn over and over to appear to be animated with motion. The way I use flip a clip is similar. I draw everything by hand, only digitally, and have layers to mimic cels. I often make backgrounds, but this time I didn’t.

The movie is non-cannon, which is very clear by its inconsistencies. Like how the books describe springlock suits are also inconsistent. It is clear that the eyes must be removed because in the GAMES, you can see Williams rotting bloodshot ghostly eyes that are clearly not a animatronic eyes further supported by the fact you can see the eyes in his skull in the corpse model. Plus if the eyes couldn’t be removed, how would you see? Clearly the mouth is too low because you can see Williams mouth is at springtraps mouth level in the games. Also, I do not quite understand what you were trying to say in the beginning of your paragraph, can you rephrase it so I can better understand? I am open to criticism, and if I disagree, I will explain myself. But I will keep an open mind.

I have studied this system back and fourth and it’s the only way that mechanically makes sense. Plus, how do you know what’s accurate? No official render of springbonnie’s endo have shown up. I’m actually making a video about this topic soon.

@@-S.F.K. His official endo is in SPringtrap, the scrapped Help Wanted Springbonnie, and the top half of Bruntrap. Those 2 metal beams are in place so they can extend up and hold the endo's jaw to the costume from another angle, it serves the same purpose as the 4 side beams on the sides of his head. IT makes more sense than them litterally flying into the wearer's mouth in my opinion. And if they do really just fly, how does that help put the endo into animatronic mode?

  • @-S.F.K.

    @-S.F.K.

    8 ай бұрын

@@MackGall where is your evidence to support this? I told why I went with this decision, and you responded with basically the same thing you said originally as though you’re trying to shove it in my face after everything I say. I study springlocks heavy, there is no official render of the spring Bonnie endoskeleton, only springtraps corpse which hides the endo considering his skull is there and it wasn’t necessary to model the endo head. If you think you’ve seen a render of the endo head, I hate to inform you it’s fan made. There is no official render for springbonnie besides one picture in a book that you cannot inspect because, well, it’s paper. The only way the whole endoskeleton makes sense is if it’s a basket like structure that widens to incase you, this includes the head. If there was a brick of a head such as the endo 01 original design inside, the persons head would not be able to fit. The suit is just barely big enough to fit one head, led alone two. Therefore, the head must be a system of bars that move and incases your head. It is the only logical way. I am releasing a video tomorrow going over these kind of issues, watch it if you want. I do not mean to get frustrated, but I have worked really hard on this stuff as many springlock mechanics do not make sense, so I have to make logical leaps. I have to stress about releasing the video on time for the 1/2 k sub celebration, then I have you telling me that I’m wrong with no evidence to back it up. I will understandably get upset, so please excuse my frustration. I’m sure you’re a wonderful person, and thank you for complimenting me.

Oh, what I read was a glitch, sorry. But #1 burntrap is likely not two cannon as it’s the incredibly inconsistent and is a fictional ending. #2, was very likely fixed with parts from other animatronics. #3, Williams corpse head blocks you from seeing the original head.

With the way you worded it I can’t tell weather or not it’s a compliment. Although FlipaClip may seem like a beginners app for six year olds, with enough experience it can be close to professional, besides the audio which is still great, but slightly lower in quality. If the background wasn’t the default FlipaClip background, I feel as though no one could tell it was FlipaClip. It works the exact same way most animation works, except for the new fancy studios with rigs and stuff. It basically works as cel animation (the original form) with a paper as a background and a clear piece of paper for the characters, but in a digital form. I’ve been doing this nonstop for six year with many failures and crappy animations. But after so long you get good at what you’ve done, and I haven’t ever actually taken a class or studied how to animate. Anyone can do it.
