I like to think that William doesn't have full control over the suit, tbh I like to think he would be bearly conscious as springtrap acting more on instinct then on thought. But I am aware that canon springtrap would be quite conscious, I mean he can even talk and make fun of you in fnaf AR

That’s true, and given FNAF AR is a delivery service, and it’s infected with a mimic of William, Id imagine it wouldn’t completely copy THE William.

@@loganentertainment1814 I guess, I don't really know the lore after ffps so I'm not really knowledgeable about special delivery springtrap, but still scraptrap talked and I doubt that Afton just got smarter after the fnaf3 fire so he was most likely as intelligent in springtrap form as he was in scraptrap form, I guess he just didn't have the full control of the suit and it just went by itself sometimes

That is possible, but it could be that after Fnaf 3, his suit was damaged, and you'll see that most of his organic remains are bone, and some flesh. Not to mention his suit is completely different, so it isn't hard to imagine he fixed himself up.

@@loganentertainment1814 I'm not sure how he would fix his flesh tho, and that's one of the reasons I have and love scraptrap, he's so ugly and doesn't make sense. I hate it and love it, but I do wish there was like burned and (even more then before) broken springtrap, like scorchtrap or something instead of the small ugly fart we got lol

At least, it’s not one of those VHS horror videos that have those random “glitches” (music cuts, screens going black, jumpscares, etc).
