I composed this piano piece in January 2023. It's a simple one that is based around two themes. The first is a dancing melody while the second involves a descending sequence based on a rise and fall motif in the right hand and the left continuing its steady broken chord pattern.
There's an elegance to the melody and the notes almost have a fleeting nature. It reminds me of a mayfly dancing on the water...there and gone in an instant.
