Well they have been nerfed. In my games they are beatable (I am still a bad player though) maybe they become oppressive in the higher leagues?

Vargheists are one of my favorite units overall. That unilateral charge of hulking gargoyles just ripping into high armor targets. PS. Regular Crypt Ghouls do have stalk (eye + arrow icon).

Balance patch baby, we just got so many cool factions back.

I think that Varghulf paid for itself handsomely by baiting Rasputin and his monster posse far behind the VCount lines, causing that powerful gang to be isolated and ground down.

crypt ghouls stalk and being a little faster than normal infantry is quite annoying to deal with, makes you have to guess where they will appear while also focusing on such a big line of zombies and skeletons and they can invisibly sneak onto capture points too if you dont leave units on them to spot

You had called Kislev out perfectly when the roster gets fleshed out that they would be heavyweights. I too am glad to see their titanic might calmed somewhat.

The hobo old men rivalry is strong

@4:10 Black Knights w/ Lances got a charge bonus increase, don't think they got any cost reductions.

3:10 crypt ghouls actually do have stalk! That with their higher movement speed and poison makes them really annoying units to deal with!

Hawks of Mishka would probably have been a better spell choice to force crumbling.

I feel like this game was won by those vargheists. The horrors held well and did good damage but when the vargheists rocked up the kislev line and cav just melted

I don't ever remember seeing a Master Necro lord, they're good value but absurdly vulnerable to the snipe.

okay I just burst out laughing watching the direpack attacking the kislevite dirvishes and they just stood there and did nothing to defend themselves like. Hmmm I could do something about this or... let the dogs eat me

Undead faction abillity: For every 300 skeleton of yours that die, create 1 skeleton Unit Every X living infantry dying, create a zombie Kill a dragon, create dragon (or something with horsies and Ghouls)

A good battle, will have to fight Kislev somepoint in immortal empires to know how balanced they are. I still have nightmares of sending Morathi in with a good army and watching it all melt under level 1 Kislev bow fire, what made it agonizing was even when I concentrated crossbow fire the enemy wouldn't break until there were 2-3 models left. The Kislev back in December felt all-elite, these seem a bit more balanced...

The Elemental Incarnate losing its Bonus vs Large a few Patches ago was kinda cute, when it still has 62 Base Melee Attack. That could still see a Nerf but maybe compensate it with Frenzy. Why doesnt it have that anyways?

Seeing the Vargulf not be able to push pass 1 things in the wood was kinda sad to see >.>

I still think the black coach need more weapon strenght buffs, it's just too low imo still. Also maybe, on a quite unrelated note apart from also being a chariot, couldn't they give nobles on chariots their armour piercing damage back?

My opinion on them is that they're probably fine now. If they got any more buffs, they'd run the risk of actually being too strong. They already get 50% extra armour piercing, perfect vigor, and 40% DR once they're stacked, so if they're too good baseline they can easily become unholy terrors that are inordinately difficult to kill on a roster known for its healing. Them being a little weaker and a little risky to bring is, imo, the perfect place for them to be.

Kislev really in the pits if they cant even stand up to vampire counts.

Most of the best matches uploaded on this channel in the past year are of Subutai losing to a weird build arent they? Skilled orthodox player being creatively countered just scratches the itch.

On the campaign they used to just spam level 1 units and be extremely effective. Watching this battle they threw their might into attacking zombies and skeletons while the elite vampire counts chewed them up. On the campaign I often have come to grief facing vampire counts, how can I lose vs a faction with no ranged? Yet I often do with a powerful army.

Is it just me or do flying units sometimes feel really slow? Like those Vargheists were swimming through the skies, and it just feels so weird to see them puttering along menacingly.

I laugh Everytime I hear it but for the record it's pronounced BRAY-zhyr not bra-ZEER

nerf the fucking healing bloat in the game!

Always a good day seeing kislev lose, but made 10x better knowing it was Subutai that lost. Bringing meta builds nonstop makes him always objectively the bad guy to me
