Antistasi is relatively fun with just a small group of friends, but I can't even imagine what it's like with a larger group, creating small squads and doing separate missions, calling for reinforcements, shit just seems like so much fun.

Honestly speaking, when it comes to ice cream. I generally want to have a good cream based ice cream as it has a surperior texture and and mouth feel. When it comes to my preference if falvours, I usually tend to gravitate towards rocky road and rum raisin. I really enjoy the smooth smoky and fruity notes of chocolate mixed in with the refreshing min in the rocky road. I know that rum raisin might be a controversial choice, however I find the sweetness and caramel flavour of raisins and the dryness of the dark rum very tasty. If not given the chance of these more special ice cream flavours I tend to pick strawberry.

Antistasi is imo the best publicly available way to play arma, it does everything arma was made for, and you can either play for 30mins-1 hour, or spend 5 hours. And choose your own roles and everything. Would love to see more of this!

A lot of the military games try to draw in players by promising "hey come play with the high tech toys the biggest militaries of the world use" but then a consequence of that is that you're usually playing on the side of some imperial power who has to drum up thin excuses for why that poor village in Africa or southeast Asia needs to be occupied.
@sugarc1rcles
2 ай бұрын
@@SirKickz yeah. and those excuses can get *really* thin. I felt that when looking at gameplay for Grey Zone Warfare. I hadn't looked at the Steam description of the game prior to seeing it, and the entire time I was just like "huh. this town is really quiet despite the fact that there's gunfights happening in the streets. and also everyone else here is just goons trying to shoot you." Look at the description, apparently a "mysterious event" has taken place and "almost all of the civilian population has been evacuated by the UN". I donno that just doesn't seem plausible to me, I don't see the UN actually doing that good of a job that the only people left are just goons trying to shoot at PMC's.
Dude, you could make this a freaking permanent series. This is cool stuff.
18:25 was such a funny bug. I also love how everyone just went crazy on that garbage pile.
This is literally real world wars such as desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and other southern. Resembles a lot of real war tactics, intel, and strategy. It would be awesome to see different environments like the jungle or urban warfare design!
I quietly hope this series follows in the footsteps of SovetiWomble and Rimmy, drifting off into weirdly existentialist coming of age stories halfway into it and finally ending on that note.
One of the things I like about ARMA, even though I haven't played it myself on account of surface Pro 2 can't run jack, is the amount of flexibility you get with the mods. The Grenade Sound is from your map lighter. You gain this Sound on every debris such as ruins when you turn on your map light. Ive done this several times in some missions for some chaotic screams
This is the one youtuber that actually made me instantly subscribe just because of how good the content is.
For being quickly trained civies, I'm surprised these people didn't form an army earlier
Rocky Road. Also I know exactly how you feel. I used to rent an Arma 3 server to run Liberation CTI. Very similar in that you are fighting One Long War over months of efforts. And capturing, stealing weapons and vehicles was a big part of the fun. Building your forces over time was as well. The one advantage with Antistasi seems to be that you start from nothing, as basically bandits, criminals, taking from the cops and security guards, hoping the militaries don't even engage you yet. In Liberation CTI you start kinda like Ghost Recon Breakpoint, where you are a handful of military dudes, trying to take over and entire military occupied island, on a VERY VERY shoestring budget.
I really hope this makes antistasi come back into the mainstream
I've watched this episode 3x. It's one of my favorite. Great vid, I've always wanted play Arma! Your sqaud well together.
19:18 - GET OVER THE HILL !!! 19:24 DONT GO OVER THE HILL !!! - made my day
Loved the vid and the conversation we had in that offroad. Ton of fun! I lost it at "didnt know you were cosplaying the ATF for halloween Fu."
The fact that you record and upload in the correct colourspace means the night scenes are surprisingly dark and good looking compared to the average KZread video.
“Didn’t know you’d be cosplaying the ATF” had me dead 💀😂
Imagine having to steal your first gun from the cops to fight a war with it. You can go to just about any rural American community and find enough guns to arm at least a full infantry unit, complete with snipers and designated marksmen. I know there are people around who could arm a squad all by themselves.

I’d love to see a major overview of operations on a map or something!

Honestly speaking, when it comes to realism in games. I generally want to have a good amount of realism in a game as it has a surperior high/low cycle for when you win and lose battles. When it comes to my preference if games, I usually tend to gravitate towards Tarkov and Insurgency. I really enjoy the smooth calm and benign notes of looting mixed in with the refreshing PvP battles. I know that Insurgency might be a controversial choice, however I find the music and sound of the overall soundscape and the wide variety of attachments and cosmetics for both factions very immersive. If not given the gaming PC and hard cash required to actually play these games, I tend to pick Minecraft.
Traverse Bay Cherry Fudge is probably my favorite, just good and rich flavors and textures blending well together

My god when you guys were all on the trash pile spamming that sound I died. It reminded me so much of my deployment. You have a group of trained professionals acting like children burning absolutely everything we could. I don’t know why but I saw it and it brought that memory up for me. To tell you the truth that’s the first times in a long time I actually thought about a good time there. That place and all my memories of it reminds me of all the bad shit. Games dope man and so is the content.
I love all the CTI Missions. For those who want to expand their looks on CTI missions here are a few names: [] Antistasi (Rebelion and combat focus) [] Overthrow (Rebelion and Economy focus) [My third favorite] [] Vindicta (Antistasi V2 basically) [My first favorite] [] Liberation / KP Liberation (Combat focus) [My second favorite] [] Arma Commander (small scale RTS-like focus) [] Direct Action (Liberation but more bare-bones) Those are the ones i know off the top of my head. Their was one more i forgot the name of that is much like Arma commander, but a lot like Company Of Heroes where you build factories.

Arma 3 is still the King of realism but Squad isn't incredibly far off. If we could get those two games combined we'd have it about as good as it will get for a long while. Things like the general atmosphere in Squad are SO much better. It blew my mind even just in the training during the live-fire portion. It sounded/felt so real it actually made me duck a little in real life at first. It's sadly missing some of the more in-depth features that Arma 3 has but you still get one of the most immersive experiences that I've personally had in a game.
