Everytime I return to Saturn Devouring His Son, even in thought, it's always... haunting, the ending especially with the Flood escaping on the Condor. This has the biggest implications for Halo going forward.

Really loving the breadth of new videos, loved the stellaris ones but seeing all these new franchise stories is awesome

There was more to the story, there was one "other" pelican that made it out of the blast. No matter where they go the flood escaped having to wait longer

All it takes is one Flood spore and infection form with the Flood supercell to infect one cell on a world full of life to start a outbreak that will rapidly spread from a expotential rate to a astronomical rate. Faster then a infestation of a Zerg or a Tyranid force on a entire world. And unlike the Tyranids the Flood doesn't have to worry about food and short life spans. Though the Zerg don't have those issues the Tyranids have for it's ground forces. Within a 2 days or a few the Flood would assimilate the entire world if their aggressive momentum is left unchecked. Even if you do contain it and get the situation under control you got to proactively keep it up due to how cunning, witty, and manipulative they with their natural traits of intuition, sensory, and awareness. However all it takes is a few hundred lifeforms for a Proto Gravemind to begin the phase of forming. And not long after the Gravemind will soon follow in it's wake with a few thousand large pure bioforms. It's easy for the Flood to form and gain and keep up the traction. Even amongst Stellaris Devouring Swarms and parasites using their technologies to expand the Flood are a greater danger and treat then they are. Even the mods Ancient Cache of Technologies and Gigastructural Engineering versions of them would do well wisely not to underestimate the Flood's capabilities. Especially with the Flood's reality warping and manipulation of the soul at work that becomes more potent as their hold strengthens. I doubt even the Stellarborne and Blokkats would be foolish enough to downplay the Flood if they knew all their capabilities and feats.
