One of greatest and timely stories of all time, comes from the genius of Edgar Allen Poe.
That voice in time 13:42 reminds me The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim ambience so much. Perfect!
Bravo, Sir! The voice effects somehow matched the words of the grim narrator very well. Another great performance, worthy of the author.

This particular voice, heavily processed obviously, isn't suited to everything but it suits some stories well.

Your comment is ubiquitous, because I have a Poe Stories for Halloween vid forthcoming, featuring all-new narrations and new stories. I am also doing a live narration of "The Premature Burial" this Friday October 8th, hope you attend.

this story creeps me out 5x more during 2019 and the years that follow, great narration! the background music is great for this grim story

It's funny, but after doing the voicework for the story I struggled with what music to use. Much of the pieces are quite "busy" music that works for creepypasta, but I found that the simpler work suited this particular story better.

@@TheTalemaster yeah! i think simpler music is best as it doesn't distract from the voiceover because there is a lot going on in the story which you dont want to miss

@@thequeertelope7941 Agree. It's tempting to use dramatic compositions because they're fun. But they don't always serve the story.
