The Masque of The Red Death read by Sir Christopher Lee
To honor Edgar Allan Poe's 212th birthday, here is an audio-video of Horror Icon, Sir Christopher Lee narrating one of Poe's famous short stories, The Masque of the Red Death. Poe’s 1842 macabre short story about a deadly disease called the Red Death has become more relevant in the past year and this is truly eery. To help illustrate the story, legendary actor Christopher Lee provided his enticing vocal capabilities to add the ever-mounting tension of mortals foolishly disrespecting the angel of death.
The background music is Devil's Trill Sonata by Giuseppe Tartini (1692-1770).

When Christopher Lee reads, you feel like a fool even tho you haven't done a damn thing wrong
That was amazing. How does this only have 10 likes? ... Oh yeah, Covid. I was rooting for that red death guy, sounds like he has my sense of humor.
