She's always been the underrated vocalist, but you can hear in the ease of her performances that she just GETS music. Her runs make sense, her little vocal flairs are stunning and the versatility is unmatched. The only thing that I personally don't think I'd previously seen from her was how effortlessly she went from a belt to soft melody without missing a beat in the Norah Jones number. It was impeccable. I'm so glad this show, in its bizzare format, was able to reintroduce Michelle as the vocalist she is, without any preconceived notions people had of her

Michelle is a powerhouse. You can’t stand next to Beyoncé and Kelly and be weak for a second. Her diction, belt, and range are strong as hell, she does things that are often take for granted, but are a MUST to be a great singer .#slaychelle love the Masked Singer. Bring ALL the underdogs on there!

Michelle was like a chef here, trying to recreate all these dish to fits everyones palate. And we all love it.

Michelle was definitely teased for dance ability but no one could front, she’s always been able to sing.

IM SAYING?? She literally was given the most important part of the song consistently and consistently slayed. If you listen to a DC song you are going to know Michelle is singing because 1. Her voice is distinct 2. She is gonna sing the hell out of the bridge Idk why people are trying to paint this narrative of Michelle not being highlighted when her voice constantly stands out on every song. lady lovelace I remember one instance, where stores were selling Destiny Child dolls (2001) and on the radio I heard a local DJ announce “for every Beyoncé doll you buy, retailers will give you the other members’, who calls herself singing, doll for free.” As if she weren’t pretty or vital enough; a mistake that happened to the group. You haven’t been keeping up, not to hear the insults people threw at her.

I love how she went even harder unmasked. I just don’t know how she was eliminated after that performance. She literally did not miss any notes the entire season. Every high and low perfect. Every run precise and perfectly executed. All her belts were powerful with no pitchy moments nor did she climb or slide into anything. Everything was just a direct attack. She should’ve won that season.

I agree and disagree. I would much rather have her on the judging them than any of the current judges. But, I liked her being a contestant, too!

Every Michelle's part in any DC song are my favorite part. She is my most favorite DC member. She is beautiful and her voice skill is crazy.

How did she lose? She ate every song she did. her costume is fabulous as well

She’s so slept on and I hate the treatment she received over the years! Even after she dropped her solo albums, nobody paid attention. I hope this was the energy she needed to get back in the studio!

If you were an avid fan of destinys child then you would know that yes this is indeed the Michelle that destiny's child gave us, especially when she sang through with love on the live on atlanta dvd....ya know the one where they had their own solo performances as well as group performances which they did all over the world. They were able to shine in that group, yall just choose to focus on beyonce

@John Edwards It wasn't a Sony thing, but a management thing. Kelly and Michelle are both powerhouse solo artist of their own and glad they are able to show it. What I saw from all those kid videos of the group, Beyonce was being established as the lead even before a big record deal and part because her parents were in charge. Yes Michelle came in and had a role to fill but it was not the label i believe that held her back but what management had already established when Kelly and Beyonce were kids. Michelle out range them all. She is alto and soprano who can run and blow your mind. Glad she was able to show this in this performance.

They didn't know because, they never heard her sing alone.. she can sing

Now hearing her voice on its own without the others really shows the quality of her voice. I think she was really overshadowed before and she really coming into her own
